Re: Ryan Brierly
Possible, but no deal done as yet.
Re: Ryan Brierly
Mentioned him a while ago, few people weren't pleased I asked what they thought of him returning. Hes also managed by Craig Harrison, so it's a big possibility.

Re: Ryan Brierly
Dagger isn't good enough as either a centre, winger, fullback or half back. His signing wouldn't make sense, we will need a replacement half bit another utility back.
I get that Ellis wants to be first choice half but we need a 3rd choice one. Maybe one of the Bradford halves kr signed?

Re: Ryan Brierly
It will be a poor super league side that wants Ellis as there starting half back
Not seen enough of Dagger to form an opinion
Brierly would be a typical Powell signing player with plenty to prove now id be happy with him as a back up half-back for next season he may well flourish back at Cas

Re: Ryan Brierly
Would agree with all that, Brierly would for me make better cover in the halves than Dagger who seems more of a utility back than an out and out half, and with Rankin,Matautia and Olpherts we already have three who can and have played centre and full back so would prefer to see a specialist half coming in. Brierley appears to tick that box, while if you were looking for someone with less experience the young lad Milnes at Hull KR looks one for the future.tigerfeat wrote: ↑02 Dec 2019, 12:07 It will be a poor super league side that wants Ellis as there starting half back

Brierley would be better covering for rankin at full back leaving Mata’utia to be the 3rd choice half back
