JSL

Same guy who told me about Gale definetly going to Leeds 3 months ago, just told me Jesse, while he is back in Astralia, has been told he can try to find a club, as his family are not sure they want to return to England. If he hasn't been signed up in the 8 weeks he is over there, he will be welcomed back with no animosity from anyone at the club. He is in a no win situation as he wants to see his contract out, but wants the best for his family.

Opens a Quota spot up for us if he leaves, love Jessie but would also take a big space off the cap aswell.

Jessie told me when he brought some of his clothing range around to my house that he wanted to stay as he loved it here and houses were cheap and he would find it hard to get a NRL contract now.

But says is Mrs wants to stay in Aus

Said he had all the off season to convince her.

If she wouldn’t he would play one last season then leave.

And let's be fair, he could probably get a decent salary playing in the Reserve Grade in Oz too.

I was told on Wednesday that he wants to come back but his wife doesn't want to, can't blame her really after the family bereavement. Shes taking it pretty badly apparently. Not heard about him been told he can find another club though.

I believe Jesse will be back in November. he has been putting all over his social media about the charity work he is planning to do in December visiting hospitals etc.... He will be back.

Does he have 1 year left on his contract? If so then it may be worth trying to sell him on and at least try get some money for him. Not sure NRL clubs would be willing to pay though.

Sounds like she's missing family and needs to be close. Toronto doesn't make that easier.

Ultimately, Cas yet again do the right thing by their players but it goes unnoticed. He's a massive player for us and his work for the club and in the community, he's hard to replace, certainly at short notice.

Either way, we've given him the option to make his own choice. I wish him well.

You’re right there’s only about 600 miles in it.
