Get him signed up....... probably a better organiser and all rounder than Richardson. He would compliment Trueman with his experience.

Fair comment, but we would have to lose somebody from the overseas quota wouldn't we?

Under contract at Fev for next 2 years and loves it there. Think you'd baulk at the transfer fee.

I can already hear the howls of rage if we signed a championship player to replace England international Luke Gale...

Which would be fair i think...

What I like about the prospect of Richardson and Trueman is that is a long-term halfback pairing. Both young, coached by Orr and Powell, get the right players around them and that's a dynasty.

... assuming all the rumours around are true of course.

There's a reason why he has not played SL. People clamoured for Matautia after seeing a couple of games for Leigh. This would be no different.

Not Chisholm no... However I would love McLelland back.

Think between him, Trueman and Richardson we could have best 3 English half backs in country.

CAS should write it into the Gale deal if not too late.

Agree, mclelland looks like one of the very few to leave cas that could go on to be top class

Leeds won't let Mclellend go they know what they will have with him in a couple of years

Swap him for PM? Third half-back alongside Richardson/Gale and Truey?

I haven't checked online but I'd guess Chisholm is the wrong side of the required age for a long-term halfback pairing and if he is, there must be areason why he hasn't been picked up earlier, either in SL or NRL.

If Gale goes we need two quality half backs. For the last couple of seasons we have struggled with injuries and too often lack of quality and guile in attack. Even if Gale stays (seems unlikely) we would still need another quality half. The fact that Jamie Ellis did not get on to the pitch in the season's last two games show that DP does not think that he is good enough and I suspect that he is on his way. If Jessie goes home or Junior retires that would mean a quota spot. Seen a lot of post about us needing a fullback I would rather keep Rankin and get in two high class halfs.
