Think it will be Richardson and that will be our recruitment done. Think any extra money left from Gale sale will make up for short fall club have lost in earnings to that of the previous 2 seasons.nottinghamtiger wrote: ↑27 Sep 2019, 16:17It will be one or the other, I think.RonnieGibbs'forearm wrote: ↑27 Sep 2019, 13:16 Cloud cuckoo land if people think we will sign Sezer and Richardson.
Far more likely to be Richardson, but we can dream.

We only lost £10k in our company accounts for the 2018 season.
In the spirit of the final Blackadder episode - Goooodbyeee!

probably due to inconsistency & Thursday / Friday night football.KB80 wrote: ↑27 Sep 2019, 22:12Be a big loss this year id guess.HuddsTigers wrote: ↑27 Sep 2019, 21:17 We only lost £10k in our company accounts for the 2018 season.
Re: Danny Richardson
Yep attendances have been bad. Largely for those reasons. The club need to do something to bring the buzz back that was there 2017 (even early on in the season).
Re: Danny Richardson
The whole issue is with Thursday Friday games you can't create any real game day experience where you can make it a good day out like you can do with a Sunday where you can put things on to attract children and family's to come down spend more time at the ground.
Would be interesting to see the split of teams playing on Thursdays ect should be made that everyone plays the same amount to ensure a fair split imo.

Can’t blame the attendances onbetts21 wrote: ↑29 Sep 2019, 10:13 The whole issue is with Thursday Friday games you can't create any real game day experience where you can make it a good day out like you can do with a Sunday where you can put things on to attract children and family's to come down spend more time at the ground.

Thursday and Friday game days the answer is simple poor recruiting and to many championships players in the team, most of games have been abysmal and people cannot and will not pay the high entrance fees to watch rubbish, get back to the 2017 level and the crowds will be back simple as that. IMO of course
Re: Danny Richardson
Should have worded that better the issue with having Thursday and Friday games was my point but wasn't blaming it all there I completely agree if I wasn't a season ticket holder there were games this year I probably wouldn't have gone to some of the games we've played this year have been more painful than a trip to the dentist. We look liked like a team who needed an u8 style coach from behind telling us where to go.Oldcasman wrote: ↑29 Sep 2019, 11:43Can’t blame the attendances onbetts21 wrote: ↑29 Sep 2019, 10:13 The whole issue is with Thursday Friday games you can't create any real game day experience where you can make it a good day out like you can do with a Sunday where you can put things on to attract children and family's to come down spend more time at the ground.

I honestly can't blame Injurys for it we had half backs but never really gave time to gel together we should have been able to find a way after a full season to attack better than we did and that's a worry is that.
Re: Danny Richardson
We’re all probably having to wait for the story to officially break when saints finish up this year. They’ll not want any distractions this week, and we won’t want to announce gale leaving without Richardson arriving.
I bet the story breaks mon 14th October
In other news I can’t believe we weren’t In for Gelling. We could have had him before now too. Just goes to show teams who strive with hunger for success do the business when it counts. Not us.

Re: Danny Richardson
Whilst ever there is a chance that Richardson could still play in the Grand Final (injuries to Fages & Lomax permitting) it would make sense for Holbrook and Saints to keep schtum and not distract him/the team.Mysterio wrote: ↑30 Sep 2019, 12:14 We’re all probably having to wait for the story to officially break when saints finish up this year. Re: Danny Richardson
Similar story for us from the midlands and when we do get up on a Thursday it’s 2 maximum instead of the usual 4
It isn’t limited to long distance fans either
Also if we’re so abysmal why do Sky want to screen us so often?

Didn’t miss it, just nothing to say about it
Re: Danny Richardson
That’s why sky put us on. Daryls preferred brand of football. It remains to be seen if we’ll be on as much next season.

Gelling signed for wire when they announced bryson Goodwin going back to oz. We'd got a full quota and Blair in. Gelling also wanted to stay that side of the pennines, for some reason.Mysterio wrote: ↑30 Sep 2019, 12:14 We’re all probably having to wait for the story to officially break when saints finish up this year. Sorry but I just don’t get why people get hyped up about Gelling.
I for one am glad we didn’t go for him. Warrington are welcome.
