Re: Eden... .
This was the last update on Eden 3 weeks ago
GREG EDEN
Greg has picked up a foot joint issue which is always hard to get with that many little ligaments in there that it’s always hard to get to. Scan results have shown some soft tissue damage and he was in a boot for a few days which he’s out of now and he’s doing some rehab stuff so hopefully we’ll see him back on the field within the next week.

If we progress tonight, he should be back for Wigan/Salford.

Re: Eden... .
I did too,
Perhaps Greg doesn’t really want to leave and will stay on what he’s been offered but was playing hard ball as per agent instructions.
I’d want to stay at cas indeed daryls tutelage even if for 15k + less per year. At least for another 1-2 yrs and not to a club like HKR.

As I said somewhere else he was really enthusiastic about Cas in this week’s League ExpressMysterio wrote: ↑20 Sep 2019, 20:11I did too,

Re: Eden... .
If rankin stays, Minikin will be fourth choice centre after Shenton, peanut and Blair. Probably 3rd or 4th choice winger after feki. Eden, maybe clare and Olpherts.
Don't think it'll be any easier at kr, but they will be fighting relegation.
I like the kid. The second half of the season he's been good.

Re: Eden... .
If rumours are right Eden been told hes not needed that would put Minikin 2nd choice winger imo behind feki with clare n olpherts back up.
CLASSY CAS FOREVER
Re: Eden...
But surely we haven’t given Olpherts a 3 year deal to be 3rd or 4th choice???

Would not be surprised if Olpherts was not signed as a centre.
Re: Eden...

Re: Eden... .
I'm not bothered if Eden goes,he his a liability.had some good games for us I wish him well
Re: Eden... .
How long as he got left on his contract can't see him getting another club willing to pay what he will be on at Cas so it's a puzzle how you can say he's just leaving before end of his contract is up

Re: Eden... .
Lets be honest, Eden looked good on the left with Gale and Hardaker feeding him - anyone would have scored 30 plus tries on our left that year. Yes he has produced some fantastic finishes, but since his injury he seems to have lost confidence and rarely now backs himself to go for the corner. He has no rugby brain, makes the same mistakes time after time and can be a liability. We have pace in Feki and Olpherts for next season. Surely the better option is to try and keep Minikin and let Greg go? If anyone will take him that is.
