So would we be bothered if he went, I wouldn't if they got a pacey replacement. Doesn't have to be a world beater, or wife... oops. As a club we have turned unknown or average wingers into top try scorers.

Powell's had enough of him (cue in the squad for Sunday )
Don't think we will sign another winger if he goes

Uncalled for is that, 2 sides to every story and you obviously have no idea.bane73 wrote:And I don't mean the garden...bane73 wrote:Oops Eden lol

Re: Edan...
All this rumour about Eden seems a little odd to me.
I’ve now heard for at least three separate weeks over the last 2 months about a case coming to court. Nothing happened and I’m pretty sure that if it had/did it would quickly be reported in the local press. Anyone seen anything ? I know I haven’t.
As for Toronto Wolfpack, if we were getting rid for the reason above, would this not = no visa.
Just my observations.

Re: Edan...
Somebody with the name Gregory Phillip Eden appeared at Leeds Crown Court on 23rd July 2019. It was only a plea hearing and trial preparation, but if that’s ‘our’ Greg Eden then the chances are that he’s accused of something quite serious for it to be dealt with Crown Court from the outset.Tiger53 wrote:All this rumour about Eden seems a little odd to me.

Maybe uncalled for, but, I know what's "supposed" to have happened.heritage1926 wrote:Uncalled for is that, 2 sides to every story and you obviously have no idea.bane73 wrote:And I don't mean the garden...bane73 wrote:Oops Eden lol

And it’s traditional for a boy’s middle name to be the same as his dad’s Christian name.castigers2010 wrote:Well his dad is called Phil.nottinghamtiger wrote:Somebody with the name Gregory Phillip Eden appeared at Leeds Crown Court on 23rd June 2019. Of course, it could be someone else completely. Would be quite a coincidence though.
Edit - it was July - corrected in my first post but can’t change the quotes.

Re: Edan...
Pretty sure the Cas Greg Eden is just Greg Eden, not Gregory and no middle name.
Re: Edan...
I stand corrected then. Seems a little bit too much of a coincidence for it not to be Greg Eden.nottinghamtiger wrote:Somebody with the name Gregory Phillip Eden appeared at Leeds Crown Court on 23rd July 2019. Assuming it his him though, Toronto would seem to be a non started pending a conviction for whatever he is accused of.

Re: Edan...
If it’s him, he’s got far more to worry about than where he’ll be playing RL. Crown Courts deal with serious crimes, usually ones that lead to jail time if convicted.Tiger53 wrote:I stand corrected then. His dad name is phillip isn't it? Maybe his middle name is after his dad?

Re: Edan...
I would have thought if it was Greg it would have made the sports press.
They love the opportunity to give our code negative coverage.
I would have also expected something in The Evening Post and the Pontefract papers.
I will stick my neck out and say it's not our out of favour speedster.
