HuddsTigers wrote:What I was told at the time was that Cas and Hudds both paid for a joint medical report doing and the advice came back that he had a shoulder problem that could keep him out for a while. Cas weren’t prepared to offer him more than a 2 yr deal, while Hudds offered him a 3 year deal.

There was also alleged issues with his testimonial which swung it even further away from Cas.
I thought it was a back problem ?

Always felt for him after the Brett Ferres saga. Not been the same since.

Not sure what this means.
If he's up for it perhaps should pop over to Wigan could meet both their needs or the next few months.
Great admirer of the lad in his younger days.

Just shows how quick someone's career can be over in the blink of eye. Was in the form of his life for us before his knee injury, so much so there was talks of him getting an England call up.

Maybe at some point, but for now he's definitely there to play. He's playing Saturday against Thatto Heath.

Very good point. Hope Craig can get some fitness back and be happy. Seen it with alot of players in sport when they have to retire struggle with mental health etc. There is more support out available now which is good.
