We gave a 2 year deal to Shenton so why not!!

Why would we swap a player who is under contract for two more years for a player who is a free agent?

But Gale is under contract so if somebody wanted him they would have to pay a fee. Watkins is a free agent as has been released from contract so no fee.

Watkins was inconsistent when he was supposedly "world class" this season he lost his only asset - pace, and looks a complete dud, could find better and cheaper in the Championship at this point.

Not that i'm bothered what Leeds do, but the last thing they want is another 30+ year old Aussie. Hastings would be a perfect for them, good player, controlling half back and age on his side.

Leeds should be looking to get rid of Myler, Lolohea and a few other high earners and with the wage saves from Watkins, go out and buy 5/6 solid players. Marquee players guarantee nothing these days.

FWIW, I would happily take Watkins off their hands. Take all responsibility from him and let him enjoy his rugby again. Never seen a player with so much ability look completely shot.

Would love for us to go for tui I know he's not set the world on fire but I honestly think he would work at full back for us. Be even better if we could get a knocked Down salary if Leeds want to free that role up

I'm not sure. They are in a relegation scrap. Need what they can to stay up.
