Mullally
Re: Mullally
If Leeds offload Parcell, I wonder how long it will be before Cameron King from Fev ends up at Leeds? Something very fishy going on between Leeds and Fev. It looks to me that King became available but Leeds were up to cap so they have cobbled something together with Fev while they get rid of Matt Parcell. I guess time will tell.
Re: Mullally
Leeds up to cap? There must be some wasted money in there somewhere
Re: Mullally
I would have thought there big earners were
Briscoe
Watkins
Hurrell
Lolohea
Myler?
Cuthbertson
Merrin
Ward
Sutcliffe
Then there is the likes of Ferris, Crosby, JJB, Ablett, parcell and Dwyer. Who I think will be getting a reasonable amount too. So I think there is a lot of money that could be better spent there.

Agreed, always thought he looked good against us. Fellow vegan to cheer on too :dance:TT Tiger wrote:^^^ thisAid wrote:Always thought that Mullally would be a good fit for DPs Castleford. Intelligent lad, decent player who would get better and better under Daryl and co.
Only Leeds player who has been consistent against us
Re: Mullally
If cuthbertson isn’t done he’d make a fine loose for 2/3 yrs similar to how Powell himself ended up at Leeds.

Pretty sure we don't have a quota spot available.

Re: Mullally
Spot on. DP has a top class record of signing from the Championship and from second rate teams. However you omitted the best steal from a second rate club; Paul Mcshane!Fumper27 wrote:You complain much when we signed the likes of Solomona, Cook, McMeekan, Gale from those “bottom 4 sides”???Mucky1978 wrote:Can’t beat loaning a Bottom 4 teams player?

Re: Mullally
He's looked decent when I've seen him . Leeds are trying to free cap space for someone.

Re: Mullally
Now we’ve signed clarkson this may not happen now.
If Daryl is serious about mullally could do with him coming in now, gets a week to train with the squad.

Re: Mullally
Just on this, mullally had been hawked around for months but he's happy to take his money. Leeds had offered to pay part wages but not enough, apparently.
I would think we'd keep it powder dry and see what comes up. Our forwards are diminished at the moment but in a couple of months, hopefully, we should be back up to strength.

Not keen on him myself.
But if he is coming, which I doubt it, it should be now so he as a week full training while there’s a break.
Happy with clarkson, and with cook due back next week, I think we’ll be ok.....as long as there’s no more injuries.
Re: Mullally
clarkson was a good player not sure how it went wrong for him but hes type powelly loves to sign plenty of ability bit to prove now and ready to play out of his skin when he gets a chance so he can get another contract

Niggles yes don't need the silly penalties.
