Absolutely nailed on our starting centres next year are Mamo and Jordan Turner

We won’t pay the fee for Hardaker again after been stung last time

We’re also not going to be signing another half back that would be able to be a regular starter so that’s an idea squashed

I’d have thought Westerman should start 13, Not Massey as that’s Joe’s best position.

Can’t say I’ve ever seen Evalds at center.
So can’t say on that one.
I think hardaker is a better fullback (just) than Evalds.
Can't see Evalds being a centre, would be more likely that he'd play on the wing if not fullback. Also Hardaker being the better fullback is very debatable in my opinion, both great tho. For me it would be Zak at centre and Evalds at the back but no chance I'd be paying a fee for a square peg with bad history

Why? A fully fit Sosaia Feki, which is expected next season (if he doesn’t breakdown again) is, in my opinion, the best winger we have in our squad for 2022.
let us hope you are right mate i will believe it when i see it
I’d take a one legged Feki over Olpherts any day of the week

Yeah one guys run his blood to water for us whilst the other on probably 4 times the salary hasn't even put a shirt on.

Giving 100% is fine. But if your 100% would look poor playing for Lock Lane, it doesn’t matter. Also, Michael Wainwright “ran his blood to water” but he wasn’t very good either. Olpherts catching a simple pass would do for me. Add to that getting tackled into touch within 30 seconds of the half starting and I’ll stick with a one legged Feki all day long.

Another simple pass, another Olpherts knock on….that is all…

Least Radford will be pleased he's got a outside back coming with the pace of Mammo can't say he will be overly pleased with the two half backs that could be a problem area for him to sort out before the start of next season

We get the 7 and the 10 there and I’m quietly confident we may actually win a final, my issue is I don’t see us getting either!

Anyone heard anything on Eden yet? If his injury problems can be put right by next season I'd definitely be taking him for at least another year. Eden and Turner on the left, Mamo and Faraimo on the right, Evalds at the back. That's good enough as is and if Feki is finally ready to play that'd just be a huge plus

As mentioned above we are desperate for a proper high level half back and at least one more sizeable, aggressive forward- front rower. If we want to really compete.
The standard of the league has dropped massively over last 10 years but still tough to have a genuine crack at winning silverware.

I think we’re a few props short, maybe offer Matagi a year. Hopefully Radders can find the type of units he regularly signed for Hull.

I'd be offering Matagi a new deal he's got better as the seasons gone on

Looked like he was saying his final goodbye yesterday. A lot of players going up and hugging him as though it was his last game. Who knows. If so, then he's done a proper shift in Cas colours this year.

The quality and quantity of players in NRL is that there must be half backs who cannot get a first team gig but are sufficiently good enough for SL.
Dont forget we got Whispering Tony K who at the time was not in Newcastle Knights first team.

So how long will the club wait until they make some announcement of incoming players.
I think we need some positive news after a disappointing season.

I would imagine we will announce players who have no further match commitments soon and then the Leeds and KR ones next week when they have finished.

By the way, Mamo was outstanding last night, pace to burn and right on the money in attack. Him and faraimo on the right will be awesome. Pace and strength.
