It was that bad it became amusing…particularly when he got a great pass for Pete, had an open line 5 yard out and managed to get tackled 12 yard out.

His yardage out on backs plays no way out weighs his lack of ability to catch or pace to outpace an opposition player started ok but has been on a very downward curve! Greg Eden over him any day.

Maybe marginally better as a back up player than Clare. As a starting Super League player? Not as long as he’s got a hole in his backside.

That was awesome by Pete as well! That was confusing why he did that, me and my mates was so sure he was about to go in but decided to not run in the massive gap for a try and just ran it sideways!

the lad is a strong runner not fast enough for the wing, i think he would go well in the second row is it worth a shot ?

His attacking game could suggest he could, but he can’t defend, the lad doesn’t know how to tackle and you obviously have to do more tackling in the second row.

He certainly seems to have lost his confidence. Does a couple of balls that would have been tries. Did a lot of hard carries but no threat.

Taking a harsh look at tonites team, there's a lot carrying injuries and out of form. It's clear why Radford has cut the squad, apart from Jesse he's right. Matagi with the odd good hard run isn't enough.

We need another like matagi, someone who will run at defences and scatter a few.
Smith and Griffin don’t do it for me…..not aggressive enough.
One player who did both last night was Jesse, he wound up and ran hard at the Warrington defence.
Definitely need our pack stronger.

Matagi doesn't do it every run, maybe one a match. There was maybe one when he gave it his all last night. Not enough.

I thought Smith and Griffin also average.

Hoping Radford sorts them out. I think he will and westernan gives us more than just the odd hit up.

Wish he was able to cut one or two more that are under contract for next season

He makes far more metres on kick returns than anyone else.
Sometimes he takes the kick return and then the third play too, usually when the forwards aren’t even back behind the ball.

The extra bits a winger does making meters out of your own half to help the forwards he's good at but that's a wingers secondary job he makes too many mistakes and is defence is poor in general

I don't mind Olpherts, but he's definitely better in our half than he is in the opponents.

Sorry to say this but is not starting material maybe backup but we need a winger who opposition fear when eden, solomona, carney played kept opposition on there toes dragged markers with them. Olpherts does not do this as seems to offer little threat in oppositions half and teams/players notice this, how many times as he had a gap and not had nerve to take it while 3 players i ,mentioned would be throwing themselves towards corner

Couldn’t put it better myself - yes, he brings the ball back half decent but a winger who can’t catch and doesn’t know where the try line is is no good. Plus, his positioning is absolutely terrible - I question how much he actually understands about the game.
