If the forwards would come and run the ball from our own line then the wingers would have more energy to attack. Every set olpherts takes 1 or 2 drives when clearing the line.

Some of that attacking play in that last half an hour was painful to watch
Lost without macshane.
Sticks out like a sore thumb.
Macca is quality but unless we bring in a decent half back he'll be carrying this team for another season.
A fully fit Trueman will make the difference.

Trueman won't make any difference like you said we need, a, quality half back

While I agree about the forrards, it must be a coaching thing for the backs to take a few drives. DP would be handing the bollockings out if it werent what he wanted them to do

Every team uses wingers to drive out from defence. More often than not, after a kick, the wingers are the nearest to the ball, forwards are getting back. It gives forwards a rest. It’s why they often register most meters.

Isn't that what every team wants? A prolific try scorer who can defend. There's not too many about at our pay scale. Leeds have a pair of briscoes and I wouldn't want them

Who do you suggest?

Kick returns and are a massive part of the modern game and whilst Watts is a reasonable ball handler and quick for his size, he's no winger or full back.

The back 3 (full back and wingers) are there to retrieve the ball and bring it back up the field. The more ground they can make, the better it is for the forwards to build on for the remainder of the set and this is only reinforced if there's a quick play-the-ball.

I think Radford will be good for us. We have to roll the dice to try and win something. Clear out the Deadwood and Rethink the whole set up. Might aswell do it now when DP is taking his staff with him.

He's certainly not messed about.

Hopefully the strength and conditioning guy from Catalans can come in.

He's what we need now.
