Re: Game off.
Mmmmm frightening.wonder what else is ready to pop up. Stephen King couldn't have written this nightmare.
Re: Game off.
First query is what are super league clubs such as us doing wrong while championship clubs seem to managew to get games on, must super league are full time pros so should be able to isolate easier than championship players who are mainly part time with other jobs, so twice chance of exposure. Secondly top scientist in us as now said everyone who as had covid and got natural anti bodies are only pretected by these for up to 8 months then said jabs protect for up to a year so therefore this is going to be an annual jab then. But then also admitted when questioned by anti vac person (not my opinion i have had both) that this is still an experimental vaccine as long term studies will take years to return any other effects. So if a younger person does not want to take one i stand with there choice and welcome them to any game without a covid passport/letter like we used at wembley as long as they have taken a test prior (result only takes 30 mins). Finally at wembley my party showed our letters to security yet not one of us was asked to show id so i could have just photocopied these letters and handed them out surely security should have asked for id to verify our letters. Did anyone actually get asked for id ? just throwing this question out to wembley attendees

“The Stand” by Stephen King isn’t far off what’s happening now with Covid….

Re: Game off.
Tigerade a lot of what as happened was predicted in theories written about panademics a decade ago but thing got me was when watching fauci top yank medical officer get questions admitted us fund research into viruses but would not answer one question posed why do we need to manipulate animal viruses to test human effect if these virus were not transmittable to humans in first place, as questioner asked is this not playing with fire in first place and also asked why so many labs around world have access to potentally deadly viruses such as smallpox, ebola, etc in first place

Re: Game off.
There is a couple of TV series loosely based on the book. One is about 20 years old and the recent one came out last year believe it or not. Both are American made with all star casts and are both worth checking out.

Re: Game off.
It seemed like a good idea at the time but it appears that our members prefer a daily dose of COVID in every thread.

Re: Game off.
One of my favourite books, Stephen king has written sone great works.
The book is written in 2 distinct parts, a contagion and a battle of good v evil. The 1994 version is a lot better in my opinion.

The new series of “The Stand” also has a different ending to the book written by Stephen King. His son also directs several episodes.

Re: Game off.
Completely off thread, but I think his best work was “The Green Mile”.
If our conditioning team had John Coffey to help we’d be top of the league.

Despite his size, he’s probably play like Will Maher
