OK, first ever post, and I have just been to my 3rd Wembley Final and lost again, but, and a big BUT…. 6 games to go, we should now just go for it and get in the top six (or 4 if they changes the rules).

Still something to win - Darryl or Radders - let’s win 6/6 and give the other teams something to think about.

Why ?

Saints played for 3 weeks before the final with all the first team and they still turned up and won.

We play 1 game in 4 weeks and now they won't have recovered to play week after :-({|=

The players are employees of the club and their profession is to play rugby, it’s what they are well paid for.

One game in a few weeks (for most) followed by a tough gig, but a week between games, doesn’t give them permission for a few more weeks off, and I’m not saying they’re seeking it but cup apart, we’ve not seen much. this season.

I don’t normally criticise but season ticket holders and fans deserve some commitment to the rest of the season. We’ll see.

As much as I like the enthusiasm off this thread i am afraid the season is over now . We put all eggs in one basket which nearly paid off in the final, The last time we lost in challenge cup we went on to a rubbish end off season reckon we win about five more games which finish us about eighth position .

Definitely need to dust themselves down,give themselves a shake,pull together and really go at the next 11 games.that team out at Wembley plus matagi,eden is capable of winning atleast 9out of 11 which should secure the playoffs.the season is only dead if they allow it to be.

The only way we’ll know is if they really go for it. At this stage in 2019 we were being talked about on here as potential relegation candidates and we made the last four of the playoffs.

I think this season peters itself out if we are not careful. Several players running down the clock to leaving for numerous reasons, coaches all in the same boat.
Legitimate likelihood of GF, you would have to say slim. I would like to be wrong, but I think if we are not careful the wheels could be well off the wagon.

It is a pity it has come to this after a tenure that has presided over the biggest highs in 20 years I would say since 99. Everyone will say the right things, but those 1, 2, 3% efforts, when it really matters, will they be there?
