Probably not having a competitive game for 3 weeks was our downfall yesterday. The props and second rowers looked dead after 55 mins.
For me, notable players as follows.
Olpherts - no pace or strike out wide. Too light in my opinion.
Shenton - Club Legend but 2 years too long. Lost pace and strike. Any top teams would of realised this and replaced him 2 years ago.
Griffin. Just doesn't do it for me.
Millington. Another club legend but now his body is saying no.
Holmes. Goes missing in big games.
Trueman. Obviously playing injured and needed game time with GOB.
Milner. Penalty machine. Lost a yard of pace. Sadly stayed at club too long.
JSL. Very leggy and no strike. Cannot break a tackle.

Re: Yesterdays Player Performance
Agree with most of that. Think Olpherts does contribute in yardage but if Feki was fit, Olpherts becomes James Clare squad wise.
We are now in transition. Signs look good. Still more to come in though if we are serious about competing for trophies.

I’m not commenting on most of that but in Olpherts defence he got the ball on a number of times in the second half with no space to moved because of the excellent Saints defensive strategy. Thought he had a good game
