Re: POWELL OUT!!!!!!
Anyone work out why Daryl came and clapped the cas fans before the game.
Not see that done before.
Was it a final farewell.

Re: POWELL OUT!!!!!!
Just want to say maybe my first post was too harsh. But having been sat in the red hot sun and watching shocking decisions from the refs plus us run out of steam in the second half maybe my anger got the best of me. But on reflection it's a massive shame for Powell as he did deserve to go out on a high and respect to the players effort today.

Frustration is what happened to you. Powell is a Cas man, and will be feeling gutted. Only thing with his coaching, he can't win a final.LeeThorpe898 wrote: ↑17 Jul 2021, 18:44 Just want to say maybe my first post was too harsh. Re: POWELL OUT!!!!!!
Yes three attempts no trophy tactical brain dead in finals and take Trueman with hi. Worst six in super league
Re: POWELL OUT!!!!!!
I have a feeling he will win nothing at all with Warrington . He couldn’t win a final with arguably the best all round side ever seen at cas in 2017.A_can't_speak wrote: ↑17 Jul 2021, 20:05I have a feeling he will win the CC GF and LLS at Wire next year.fast hands wrote: ↑17 Jul 2021, 19:08Frustration is what happened to you. I'd also like to thank Mr Powell, who along with others such as Steve Gill have worked tirelessly to save a team almost on the brink of collapse into a team that has played consistently at a much higher level than they have for many years. His efforts have upheld and honed the style of play that we are synonymous with and made us contenders. I am saddened by some of the comments on here. I will welcome Mr Radford and be 100% behind him. I will also thank Mr Powell for all he has done for us.LeeThorpe898 wrote: ↑17 Jul 2021, 17:07 Thanks so much Mr Powell for making my season ticket a complete waste of money. Watching weakened teams every week for the challenge cup. I especially loved last sunday watching Salford put 70 past us. And now im in Wembley watching saints completely outclass us. Please get out of our club and bring this joke of a situation to an end.

Well we had Saints well beaten at half time. The changing moment for me in the 2nd half was when Olpherts had 2 chances to score in the corner. But instead of kicking the ball along the floor into the corner we passed it to him and that was the end of the dream.

S**t thread to start.
I was there today with all the family.
Proud of the coach and all the players.
To**ers, go and support Wakey or Fev.
Hang your head in shame.

Re: POWELL OUT!!!!!!
He can go now for me said this as soon as he said he was going to wire all he was interested in was a cup win, how he managed to get Evalds and Obrian on board and then say he was off makes me think and some of his other squad players he signed? Just hope when Radford takes over he gets his signings right the fans know what’s needed and the board back him but please don’t bring in those whose job title will be squad player only I think there’s been far to many over the past few years does Fulton and. Co want a successful team or what

Re: POWELL OUT!!!!!!
Can kind of see the frustration but I backed the decision of putting the eggs in this basket and felt it may have paid off. Would liked to have seen today in mild temperatures so we still had something in the tank in the second but not to be.
For me he will remain a club legend. Brought us out of the dark Millward days and created a great culture along with other key players. I will always respect what he has done and remember this era very fondly. Just such a bitter pill to swallow with the way the killer edge, slice of luck when it really mattered today and in 2017 eluded us.

Re: POWELL OUT!!!!!!
The biggest gripe I have with Powell is his out of order behaviour of working behind the scenes signing Cas players & staff up for Warrington and working on Warrington work whilst being employed by Cas. That's bang out of order.

Re: POWELL OUT!!!!!!
Getting rid of Powell now will cost us and he certainly won't walk. He 100% deserves to bow out at the end of the season in front of a packed house to give him the send off his 8 years service has deserved.
