Didn’t he jump from out the field of play?? Therefore in touch??
"His right foot is the last thing to leave the ground and that was in the field of play so he is back in play so try correctly awarded"
That's from Ian Smith

And as per usual he's wrong (like when he was on the pitch himself) he left the ground from out of play, straddling the line is out.
He's just a boot licker who sticks up for his mates.

He did, it was clear as day. But listening to the way Kendall goes through his decision making is he's decided it's a try and he looks at everything with the tint of "this is a try"....there's nothing neutral at all about the way he analyses what he's watching.

Just watched it back:
1) Percival knocked on
2) the ball hit the touch line
3) Grace jumped with one foot outside the field of play
Not robbed once, but three times in the same period of play. The referees should be held to account for such incompetence.

VR was the one and only Chris Kendall who does this on the regular when Cas are involved. The Catalan game the other week when they grounded it with a foot clearly in touch amongst other things.

As tough as that decision was to take, we had another half a hour to score and get back in the game but we couldn’t manage it. The lads gave everything today in blistering temperatures and I’m so proud of their efforts but we were second best that second half and I’m afraid for me the best team won. It’s gutting to lose in a final but I’d take that every day of the week rather than being an also ran team every year. I also believe personally that a challenge cup final feels that bit more special than a grand final. Great day, absolutely gutted but all in all it’s been a great day out. COYF

Solid first half. Great try. We were the better side.
Second half we were gassed. The 50 50s and fine margins did not go our way. Liam Moore then pinged us out of the game and killed any chance we had to get a foothold. Against a side like Saints you need the calls to go your way, especially in that heat.
Such a shame as if we get the penalty for the high shot before half time and then the decision for their try after the break, the game could be very different.
Cannot fault the effort. Left it all out there.
Gutted. So close but again that same awful disappointment.

OCLs post earlier today was moving.
Once we embarked on the journey.
Once more the destination was not the one we wanted or possibly deserved
For all our analysis the result stands. Gutted especially for Powell but more so for Shenny and Millo.
Of our finals in the Powell era.
Today we didn't choke.
We got beat
Decisions may have been questionable but ultimately irrelevant.
I walked away from the stadium congratulating Saints fans and envious of the successes.
But above all l was and proud to be a Cas fan.

Yeah that is a sound point. People critical of Powell's tactics in second half- I'm not sure if that was the issue. Will need to watch back. It didn't look like we froze or choked at all. It just simply looked like we were dead on our feet and the decisions and bounce of the ball did not go in our favour.

All that is correct but other than that it was fine so play on…..

Well DP see its differently, he's stated 'he has no problems with the try being awarded'

And plenty of neutral pundits and players also saw it incorrectly given...

Opinions my friend, we all have them and it’s be a boring world if they were all aligned, wouldn’t it?
