[Match Discussion] Wembley week
Well folks its here, Wembley week.
Positive coments only please, lets all get behind the team and have a cracking build up to our day in the smoke.
Personally i fancy us to do a number on saints.
Powell will peak in his coaching career on Saturday.
Good luck to all involved and everyone going doen have a great day/weekend.
Not often do these times come round.

Get in the Saints players faces and we can beat them. Extra motivation for the Cas players aswell especially the ones who lost the Grand final.
Re: [Match Discussion] Wembley week

Re: [Match Discussion] Wembley week
There is no doubt in my mind that it is going to be tough. It’s a final so it should be tough. We can DEFINITELY do it without a shadow of doubt. Our team when the players focus and apply themselves correctly is stacked out with quality. Yes stacked out with quality. DP is very very focused on this one. We are DEFINITELY in it to WIN it. Good luck lads and do us proud. Goose pimples already and it’s only Monday!
Re: [Match Discussion] Wembley week
Should be a cracker. Hope weathers fine give us chance to move the ball about. Go out and get straight into their faces. We all know that when we get the calling we'll beat anyone. Coyf by the way 22.17. to the boys.

Think saints, are definitely beatable don't think there blowing teams away this year probaly worse team they have had four about five years. Think need to do want Warrington did to them about three weeks tackle them off park kept them to just two points. Think the big factor is how most off team not played for three weeks and some for longer will this favour us all fresh ore be are down fall.

Hoping for a win.
All I ask is that the lads give 100% and put on a show.
I couldn't bear a repeat of 2014 or the Grand Final.
It's a long way home when they put in a disappointing performance.

Re: [Match Discussion] Wembley week
I was hoping for rain on Saturday, even it up a little bit. Watched Saints a few times this season in bad weather and they were terrible. Unfortunately, its meant to be a proper summers day, which I think will take too much out of us. Praying I'm wrong, I really am.

I don't think there a weaker side there coach is playing no risks rugby that's part of why I think we will win on SaturdayBlackbulltiger wrote: ↑12 Jul 2021, 11:08 Think saints, are definitely beatable don't think there blowing teams away this year probaly worse team they have had four about five years. Lets get the ball rolling then and suggest a starting line up for Saturday. Assuming Trueman and O'Brien are fit do they start with Richardson on the bench, or do we have 4 forwards on bench and rely on Turner stepping into half back role if either get injured.

Re: [Match Discussion] Wembley week
I think Millo did enough yesterday to put himself in the team for Saturday and then we had a straight shoot out for the right edge second row spot between Jesse, foster and Blair. I thought Jesse and Foster were disappointing to be honest but Blair was solid if not spectacular so I think I’d give him the nod. Just hope we can get through this week without a covid outbreak and I think we’ve got a great opportunity. COYF!

Castleford are all-clear on the testing front for Wembley. Daryl Powell has just confirmed they've posted a full round of negative tests, so they're good to go

Re: [Match Discussion] Wembley week
Pleased I'm not picking the Wembley team.
I'd agree with previous posters, few positions are up for grabs.
5. Turner.
10. Smith or Milo.
12. Probably Griffin.
Bench.
A tactical nightmare.
I'd go
Milner
Foster / Jesse
Milo/Smith
Matagi
Richardson and Blair just not consistent enough.
Foster or Jesse unlucky.
