If you can get the travel one, you can get the event one. Both available on NHS app.

but the family member doesn't use mobile so she hasn't got the app and you can't get via 119. any suggestions.

There's a link here to request a letter, you need to have had your second jab for at least 14 days to request one.

I have said this elsewhere but I will expand on what I did. I rang 119 on 9 June, told them that I was not going abroad but planned to go to Wembley. Both got our letters 2 days later showing proof of vaccine.
I rang 119 again a few days ago, asking if I needed an Events letter rather than Travel letter? Woman there said that I wouldn't. The letter is proof of 2 jabs and is relevant for ANY circumstance. I should ignore any ' my mate knows someone who says that...' , 'I've heard that...' or 'according to Facebook...' warnings about there being different letters. She said the confusion has arisen because the site has had a different name since the Trial Events scenario was added to Travel Pass requirement.
She assured me that her info is more accurate than a jobsworth in a Hi Viz jacket at Wembley. (But she won't be there, of course!)

Just out of interest did anyone experience or have anything like a proper check on the COVID Pass/Certification

Did not appear to be any scanners and the guy that we saw (at very quiet period), for 3 of us just looked at mine, next lads letter (but didn't check owt - could have been anything) and not bothered with next one on his phone.

It was a joke - I think we could have showed the one who checked ours a picture of Mickey Mouse and he’d have let us in.

Glad to hear that the covid protocals were being adhered to by the security staff at Wembley. Especially since I got pinged on Wednesday and therefore couldn't go yesterday even though I had tickets, both jabs and a covid passport.

Agreed. I showed my app with the QR code but didn't scan it or even check to see what it said. Also, showed match ticket. No ID required. Totally pointless and ineffective.
