From what i was told by a family member weeks ago was to be a 3 year deal but club dawdled and others showed interest so as now got an improved 2 year offer to keep him, all in all good news for cas hope he can produce the goods for years to come

Strange one, can't see why other clubs being interested would reduce length of contact, push value of contract up yes but length not so sure?

Maybe we offered 3 years at lesser value each year then with other interest had to improve offer but could only do improved deal over 2 years at present rather than 3 years. If this is case maybe club have learnt from previous deals were we made long term deals at high prices that did not work out. I like jaques but he as still yet to command a 1st team space so maybe club used common sense, see how he goes over next 18 months then offer longer if working out

HPpy with this signing and maybe under Radford he will play more as Radford likes the no nonsense type and Milner looks to be leaving.

If we sign Westerman, as is rumoured can’t see O’Neill getting too much game time with Macca at 9.

Love how so many people on here know someone at work or have family members or friends that have inside knowledge of the club.

I also love how people are probably told this stuff in confidence, then come on here and tell the world.

This happens at most if not every sports club and quite often is incorrect.

I know a mate who’s dad knows someone on the BOD and his cat told me so it must be true. 😂😂😂

Any news on his injury? Didn’t look good when he went down and threw the ball away

Definite?
He would have played every game up to Wembley and potentially had a shot at making the squad. Sorry for him.
Totally committed and puts his heart into the game. Not sure how far he will go. Distribution is very shoddy at times but love his effort.

You cannot fault young Jaques effort at all. He's a 120% lad every time he puts a shirt on. Really sorry for the lad if he misses even the squad for Wembley never mind the next few weeks.
