Challenge Cup Final
Not being a season ticket holder
I have resigned myself to watching the match from my armchair.
I would be extremely grateful if those of you are lucky enough to get a ticket would do me and many other a big favour on our behalf

Looks like I'll be following suit Junction so I'll echo those sentiments. Coyf.
Re: Challenge Cup Final
So we find out at 6pm what the rules will be.
It said on radio a while ago it will be better news for sporting venues.... as higher gates will be allowed with proof of vaccine or tests.....
Hopefully this may be good news.

So there you go, lockdown stays for another 4 weeks.
Time the RFL come out and tell us what their ticket plans are.

Re: Challenge Cup Final
Or depends how football does as i put on other thread amazing cricket could have 18000, football will get bigger crowds depending on how far we progress. This virus is amazing seems to only effect when govt says so test events indoors showed no surge in results. One of my aunties daughters (not real aunt always called her aunt since childhood for those who know me) who works at midland hospital had 20 patients now have 33 so calling it 61% increase even though population covered by hospital is nearly quarter of a million
Re: Challenge Cup Final
Seem that there's talk it could be a test event with England/ euro games and Grand prix and Wimbledon. Could be half capacityold cas lass wrote: ↑14 Jun 2021, 18:14 So there you go, lockdown stays for another 4 weeks.

Re: Challenge Cup Final
Semi and Final of Euros
45’000
There’s absolutely no reason ours will be less than that

Re: Challenge Cup Final
45,000 should see us given a good 8000 to 10000 each. Plus a couple thousand to Fev and York then 20,000 for RFL to sell. Fingers crossed we get greenlight for this.dettoriman wrote: ↑14 Jun 2021, 19:10 Semi and Final of Euros

I think the RFL have already sold 19,000. Not sure if that includes the ones carries over from 2020.Swagger wrote: ↑14 Jun 2021, 19:1245,000 should see us given a good 8000 to 10000 each. Re: Challenge Cup Final
Based on the figures mentioned and the fact that the RFL are having talks with Wembley and the Government does anyone feel confident the number of tickets available will increase?
I can’t see how they won’t be looking at what is happening with the football. Even a test event at 30,000 would be much better. The size of Wembley should make it easy for social distancing still at higher figures.
Come on RFL do something to improve things all round.

Re: Challenge Cup Final
RFL and negotiations!
We could end up with less tickets.
These are the people who negotiated the spectacular deals with Eddie Stobbarts and Papa John.
Whatever the outcome Cas are at Wembley.
We are playing our nemesis.
I really hope as many of the fans of all the clubs involved get a ticket.
Singing Sweet Caroline at the end of the 80 minutes never seems so good.

Re: Challenge Cup Final
Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden has confirmed that the final four Euro 2020 matches at Wembley and Wimbledon will be staged at 50 per cent capacity, despite coronavirus restrictions being extended until July 19.
The last-16 match of Euro 2020 on June 29, along with the semi-finals and final in July being hosted at Wembley will be staged at 50 per cent capacity, meaning around 40,000 fans will be in attendance.

Re: Challenge Cup Final
Just to correct you wimbledon as been granted full capacity for all 4 semis and both finals that's virtually 15,000 who could all be indoors if weather means roof as to be closed. While wembley staduim as one of biggest roofs for air to ciculate at almost 120x80 metres and on it's site says roof is 430,000 sq ft. Why is it that posh sports seem to be test events cricket, wimbledon even royal ascot was given phase 2 capacity of 60,000 over week this week. Told you 3 weeks ago about wimbledon would be given test status as also told you football pressuring for bigger capacity if England progress hence boris slipping in may be reviewed in 2 weeks hence covering his back. So once again rl will find out via what football can achieve, why wimbledon given test status in small arena, why not for instance say super league round 11 not test status with full capacity don't forget a lot of crowds have open ends. We have one and half sides open other grounds such as hkr, wakey even leeds have uncovered sections. Feel it's about time working mans sport gets same treatment as elitist ones

Re: Challenge Cup Final
Wimbledon, Royal ascot, euro 21...all international events with big international broadcasting rights.
Challenge cup final is a 2nd tier sport in the uk... With a UK broadcaster.
We have to accept that we are not in the same category as those other sports events and as such we will follow what others do rather than dictate the rules/precidents
