The Government / Local Authority said we could have up to 3,600 in attendance. That’ll be why we have tickets on general sale.

Yes this is true they seemed to be alot more in against Leeds then 3600. Think would have struggled to sell Hull tickets if not done a, double ticket deal after latest league form and looking at tonight team another long night.

The cricket is a test of a larger crowd and that’s why there are more in.

I'm going off League Express who published 4k. Guidance has changed.

Club don't tell us these things. Just like they said about no away fans then suddenly day after away fans were buying tix

How many FC fans would you say came.
500, that’s ££££’s into the cas coffers.
If our own fans can’t be bothered to turn up, let the away fans in to make us some well earned money.

It wasn't so much about tonight but the KR game that was linked to above.

Club explicitly said no away fans and then the day after started selling tix ahead of our own fans.

Yeah, everyone having to provide a negative lateral flow test to get in, and then take a PCR test in a few days. Conditions of entry.

Newspapers reporting that lockdown restrictions could be extended for another month, which I think would cover Wembley too.

Even if it does, the RFL should be pushing this as a test event too.

No reason the RFL shouldn't push for this too but I don't think they will. I can see a 22,500 capacity which would probably be only ST holders allowed to go.

I wonder, it will kill the Euros which will be really politically embarrassing and also make what they are doing for the Test Match look really oddd.

Not looking good.

BREAKING: Boris Johnson set to delay UK’s June 21 ‘Freedom Day’ by a month until July 19.

Unfortunately, that won’t even cover season ticket holders.

Apparently, the RFL have already sold either 15000 or 17500 tickets (depending which report you believe). That leaves a best case scenario of 7500 available tickets shared between 4 clubs.

On that basis it looks like season ticket holders will get the opportunity to enter a ballot for tickets so May get there depending on the luck of the draw.

If these figures are correct then how can the fans of the teams that get there be treated fairly?

17,000 tickets to fans when they knew it would be like this is ridiculous but hey this is RFL we are talking about so don’t be too surprised.

They got it drastically wrong for the semi and it’s the same with the final now by the looks/sounds of things.

What a total shambles of an organisation the RFL is, worse now than ever before and they were shockingly incompetent for years before this shower took over.

They are doing their best to kill the game and alienate the fans, the people that have kept the game going for decades.

How many ST holders are there at Cas anyway?

17,000 is the allocation that the RFL have for themselves. Doesn't mean they have sold them all.

That being said it is going to be a real conflict of interest. Do you support the clubs who need the cash and refund all ticket holders who have already bought through the RFL? Or do the RFL take the cash from the tickets they have sold since they will need it for governance of the game?

There's also a couple of issues here. The first is presumably the RFL sold tickets in anticipation of a decent capacity even half full. The second is that they rolled over tickets from last year for those that couldn't attend and had bought.

If they can only have 22k, what are the chances the clubs demand it to be played later in the year and the fixture list is altered to suit?

Let’s hope that the RFL have factored in that the Euros capacity will incfease as the tournament goes on and that the CC Final can be increased or be used as a test for a bigger crowd as it would be played a couple of days prior to the expected July date for coming out of lockdown.

Apparently the decision has been or will be changed from June in to July. Can understand the reasons and this could maybe increase the capacity.

We shall see.

Let’s hope you are right Hudds that the RFL have kept 17,000 and they aren’t all sold.
