air of optimism

Post by barking » 14 May 2021, 17:23

Anyone else getting the feeling that Radders is going to be a hit for us,?
All the haters seem to be warming to him and he is making all the right noises.
My only concern is the reports of players following Powell to the dark side, but if they dont want to play for Cas then they can [REMOVED] off for me'

Nothings changed for me IMO.

No signings so far.
Only evalds as committed to the club so far.
I’ll wait and see what happens in the next week or 2.

I am derby a bit.
Mainly players rumoured to be leaving.
Trueman, Holmes, matautia. These are players we should be keeping.
Still not 100% sure radford is the man for us.
I don’t like his way of playing.
But we’ll see.

I hope your right. But we'll have to wait and see. I'll admit I wasn't sure about Radders taking over but in hindsight I'll go along with him. As Boldric would say he might have a cunning plan.

His way of playing and buying ended up in back to back challenge cup wins. Powell's way of playing lost us 2 finals

If Trueman goes Cas get a load of cash and Obrien is already here to step into the no.6 position. Winner, winner chicken dinner

After working through the other coaches in super league. There's only Watson I would want. At best we'd only get an assistant from the nrl.

Cas needs a clearout on a purely rugby basis. He's the right man for the job.

I was like you ocl I was deadly against radders so much so I said I wouldn't renew my season ticket next year. After giving it loads of thought, and, common sense prevailing I will be there next year. I will go in open minded and hope radders can continue and improve on Daryl's work and hopefully bring in some silverware that has managed to elude us under DP. Come on ocl chin up and show em what your made of 👍🏻

I was same when I heard hed got the job but I think he will do well now... squad will be stronger than this season and our good youngsters will be a year older and pushing for a starting spot I've got quite a bit of optimism for next season
