I dare say that with our return on Monday this was always going to happen, announcements, to get a positive buzz about the ground.

Good news least we get transfer money now if leaves. Let's hope this improves his form now sorted. Strange one why he was not offered two years straight away.

Still struggle to utter the sentence “I was wrong”, hey? Why not just enjoy the fact we’ve secured a player, who will be a major part of our team for the next 2/3 seasons?

As I stated at the time he announced his one year deal he'd have another deal already in the safe signed, it was just a matter of knowing when to announce his intent to stay on.

Id just announce it when the bloke agrees a new deal rarther than (REMOVED) about waiting months but still main thing is he's going to be part of Radfords squad for next few years

Problem with that his the player could still change their mind at that point.

Wasn’t it reported that Evalds “agreed” a new deal at Salford last year before changing his mind and coming to Cas?

It’s when the contract is signed that it should be announced.
