Probably at Headingley. Thought today was poor really so to get a win is a statement in itself. Anyone know why Richardson went off? Admittedly, we will have to be much better, but hopefully a nicer day than today for some free flowing rugby.
Surely both games have to be in Yorkshire with both Yorkshire teams drawing 'home' advantage.

You are correct. Jake is a real one off. A young player we should nurture - as opposed to throwing poorly worded, non fact based criticism at whenever the slightest opportunity arises.
Not sure he would of win a disc race though as he isn't the quickest.

Look at my above post where I said he was quiet on attack before posting your usual intelligible drival

Looks like Millington is gonna be out for a while.
According to powell he picked up a possible medial knee ligament injury.

Great game.
Well done Tigers.
Sadly, we aren't in the same league as Saints.
I'd love to get to the Final, but fear the Wire
will be a step too far.
Not too sure where Powells heart is.!!

I dont get this. Saints arent hitting their straps yet but defence has been awesome. 100%record.
We are same apart from 1 loss away at Wigan where we didnt play our best. We havent hit our best form yet but still winning. Bodes well for me. Do we want to be playing our best stuff beginning of may?

Re: Salford in the Cup - Same again?
I don't understand the logic in that. If Warrington beat us and go on to maybe win the challenge cup, that title and stat will go up the side of the current coaches name. That will certainly please their fans and put pressure on DP who will be expected to perform next season for them. DP takes no credit for that title and now the wire fans will expect things happening and quicker. There is only two major titles you can win in a season. This would surely make the pressure more intense and harder to convince the Wire fans of his appointment, especially if things don't go to plan right away.old cas lass wrote: ↑08 May 2021, 23:35Looked like it was with us when the camera panned on him. On the flip side.....
DP beats Warrington. It will further convince he is the right man for the job and if Cas were to win the Challenge cup, it would be DP first major title and if things don't go well right away for Warrington it will maybe help convince patience in the Wire fans.
DP IMO will not want Steve Price with any trophies this year and will probably (secretly) will be pleased if they fall down the league too. It will just help him next season.
This years recruitment is a different matter. Most of our staff are allegedly following and according to rumours a lot of the players too. Now I don't think his heart will be anywhere near Cas when it comes to taking players away. He is going to do what is best for himself and Winning a title under Cas is definitely on that list.

Clearly with Cas, his current team and hometown club. The last thing he would want is to miss out on silverware in his late season in charge to his future club under its old coach.stevieblunder wrote: ↑08 May 2021, 23:25 Great game.

Spot on. I'll be amazed if LR doesn't sort that out very quickly.cogito ergo sum wrote: ↑08 May 2021, 20:22 When we play against one of the big packs, such as Hull and Saints, we will tackle but lose the contact, giving them quick ball. We really need a big forward...or two.
Hull's big chunky lads were very good yesterday.
Re: Salford in the Cup - Same again?
Powell is all Cas at the moment when it comes to results.
Powell would be happier if Wire fall to 10th in the league and get knocked out of the cup by us as it will then show massive improvement when he takes over next year.
We will be all out to beat Wire June 5th. However we need to improve massively as on yesterday's performance we will get beat.

Re: Salford in the Cup - Same again?
Swagger hits the nail on the head above. DP will not want Wire anywhere near silverware this year & I'm sure will view the semi very much as a personal challenge as well as one for the squad.
I think DP will be very emotional when he leaves. I'm sure part of him does not want to go to pastures new.
He looked very fired up when the DG went over. He will be desperate to end his tenure with as much credibility as possible - hopefully, with a trophy.

How Cas have played in the last 2 CC games isn't good enough to beat Warrington never mind Saints or Hull FC. Hopefully will have some players back from injury by the semis though.

Something lacking.
Our attack isn’t fluent enough.
I’m sure it will come with the drier weather, I hope.
But winning ugly is also good.
