Salford in the Cup - Same again?
I think so, maybe a better more polished performance, bigger margin.
Nothing to worry about looking at that game tonight.
Mossop or Peanut banned?
Very happy with the start to the season, let’s hope it continues.

Re: Salford in the Cup - Same again?
Hopefully we’ll have GOB back plus turner and Griffin.
Looks like Eden will be out if his hamstring as gone again.
Massey should be ok, 8 day turn around.
Not sure who we’ll have on wing unless Clare is ready to go.
I just hope we play more expansive, give the ball some air.

Re: Salford in the Cup - Same again?
We weren’t at ur best tonight OCL but more than enough to win the game.
As you say more to come next week with a couple back.
Things looking good just now.

Powell said Eden’s hamstring isn’t a tear and it was just tight so was taken off as just a precaution.old cas lass wrote: ↑30 Apr 2021, 22:28 Hopefully we’ll have GOB back plus turner and Griffin.

If Eden does miss im guessing Turner will slot back in as per first few games if Turner is OK.
If Turner and or Eden miss we also have GOB who can slot in too. Not his favoured position but he can pretty much cover everywhere from 1 to 7 and 9

We just didn’t click, maybe a couple of times, the trueman try was sublime. Imo we need to stretch teams from left to right and visa versa.
We played more down middle and it just imo does not suit us.
Olpherts hardly touched the ball in an attacking position.
I’m hope DP changes tactics for next week, I do believe it’ll be a much harder game than tonight.

Re: Salford in the Cup - Same again?
Salford left a few out tonight so it will be a different ball game especially if Eden and Matautia are missing along with Turner, leaves us pretty short in the backs, maybe Evalds to wing, Obrien to full back with Blair having to cover the centres.
Re: Salford in the Cup - Same again?
As you all know knock out rugby a different animal. Wembley everyone's dream. But as stated we should do it but I always air on the side of caution. Because Salford will want to go as well. Don't you just love the Challenge Cup. Win next week and there'll be a buzz around the town.coyf.

you could go GOB, Olpherts, Mata'tiua, Shenton, Evalds or Evalds, Olpherts, Mata'tiua, Shenton, Turner.
Re: Salford in the Cup - Same again?

Re: Salford in the Cup - Same again?
Saw more or less the same type of tackle in the NRL this morning.
The commentators thought it was a super tackle. No penalty, no 10 mins, no nothing.
The only difference was the Salford player hit his head on the grass, the NRL player, can’t remember his name didn’t.
There’s far more bigger hits in the NRL that don’t get penalised compared to SL.
Re: Salford in the Cup - Same again?
Pete will probably get 1 game knowing the RFL but there was nowt wrong with the tackle. Just a good old solid hit he put on him.Lofthouse Tiger wrote: ↑30 Apr 2021, 22:04 I think so, maybe a better more polished performance, bigger margin.

Games going soft if you get a ban for that.

Re: Salford in the Cup - Same again?
Anybody think Mossop cops a ban? If Richardson hadn’t meant backwards he would have copped it big time. Nasty intentional swing that was.
