Said similar in the Hull KR thread. The “Cas are rubbish” crowd were out in force the first hour. Soon crawled back under their rocks though. Some folk aren’t happy unless they’ve something to moan about.

Fair few posters need to hold their heads in shame tonite, as I've posted on another thread, just as well the lads didn't give in as quick as some on here!

I think anyone would be angry and shocked at the first half performance. It was an embarrassment. Tackling was poor.

We did well to drag ourselves back into it and at that point, I thought we had maybe got on top of them fitness wise and that our skill would prevail. We then put up some more feeble attempts at tackling.

If we are honest, it was a great game for neutrals but a bad advertisement for quality defence from both sides.

We were lucky and it was an undeserved win. But the team showed character to scrag themselves back into it and kept going until the end. A good team wins ugly. A bad team puts the cue on the rack, doesn't give a fig and gets tanked.

Agree with a lot of that Hudds, but don’t accept over the full match it was undeserved nor that luck had anything to do with it. Two teams whose defences could have been a lot better agreed and we won ugly but the win was deserved and won by tenacity and character. Not luck.

I can't imagine for one second that the players, coach's, Director's or even tea lady thought the first half performance was acceptable but I'm certain they'll all take the lucky win and hope to build.

Any body who thinks Hull kr game was a good performance must have being wearing sunglasses . Entertaining yes but not good play like, that again nine, times out off ten you going to get beat.

I disagree. Sport is more often than not dictated by luck. A bounce of the ball. A reffing decision. An unexpected breeze. A blade of glass tripping an opposition player.

IMO we were out played for a good 55-60 mins of that game, a lot down to our own errors. We had two good 15 mins spells in each half to get us points to keep in touching distance.

A better side would have dispatched us easily. That's no disrespect to KR but a top 4 side would have choked the game out.

Given the period of extra time too, we were very lucky that KR were as bad as us and fortunate to get that many decent chances.
