Four Grand Final wins.
Two Challenge Cup wins.

That’s four more GF wins and two more Challenge cup wins than us.
I asked what he'd built up himself....I believe the building was done by DP, Tony Smith, etc

My mum could have coached that team.

Likewise Millward at Saints.

Taking the reigns of a golden era isn't building up it's being in the right place at the right time. We'll see how he fairs when he's not got the likes of Shinfield Peacock Maguire Burrow etc.

He won grand finals after players like Senior, Sinfield, Leuluai and Peacock retired, after players like Donald, Webb, Ellis and Moon left. That, in my opinion, means that he rebuilt key components of the team beyond “the golden era”.

You asked what he’d done that was positive. Winning 7 major trophies is pretty positive in my eyes.

He had a weaker side in my eyes in the 2017 grand final and his side had took some hammerings from cas he still got a performance out of Leeds good enough to beat us I've no question about his ability as a coach and in that respect we've not gone for the cheap option if the rumour is true

Maybe Fumper but apart from all those trophy wins what else has he done?

Don’t forget he will be taking over from the best coach in SL who once on the LL shield 4 years ago.

The fact that BM out coached him in. 2 finals should not count for anything.

Danny award and Danny Orr don’t forget both know the club already as well and look what their track records are?

Seriously that is the most ridiculous question I have ever seen asked on here unless it is a wind up?

Maybe Fumper but what did he do himself? Apart from just sitting around not doing much those trophies and team rebuilds all happened naturally without any input from a coach.

You need to be more specific Fumper and stop using facts

DP is certainly an hard act to follow whoever gets the job and does not KO their first season with a good number of wins will soon be dragged through the mud, lets hope the powers that be pick the right fit for a club like ours

We've actually got 4.

I think it's pretty obvious that Notts is comparing it to the time that DP has been at the helm - as opposed to the entire history of the club.....

On what Maccy D may have achieved at Leeds or not, it happened with the core of the youth that DP put together during his tenure as Leeds coach.

Wouldn't it be a strange coincidence if McD came to Cas and won things with the core of the squad put together by DP?

I will back the next coach like I have Powell

Ok he coached Leeds and they beat us in 2017 we really need to get over that one

Toronto the guy didn't get paid for the job he did he was offered money but choose to give it to the players, he wanted to game to grow and said all the things to probably please the new owners of Toronto happy so he kept his job

But with no doubt he is a great motivator of players look up on YouTube leeds players say he was the best coach they have ever worked with

He was sacked at Leeds but did he successor come in and do a do a better job or did it get worse ?

If we had to pick a coach who never said bad about us not sure there would be much to pick from

Let's just back him and move on
