Re: Wells
I’m still not really sure what his role is/was.
I don’t see that he’s brought much to the club if I’m honest.

Me neither.. I just wish all this had been sorted in the long months between the last game we played last season and the start of this seasonnottinghamtiger wrote: ↑07 Apr 2021, 17:07 I’m still not really sure what his role is/was.

Re: Wells
I can't say as I'm too fussed about him going, I never really understood his role anyway. However, what I find the most interesting are the final parts of the article;
'recently secured the futures of Niall Evalds and Jacques O'Neill on long-term deals' - Has he? Where are the announcements on these long term deals then? As far as we are officially aware, as fans, they are both OOC at the end of this season aren't they?
'Wells declined to comment when contacted by Rugby League Live' - Why? Has he decided it's better to say nothing than have to either tell the truth as to what is happening at the top in the club or lie about it?

Didn't Brian Carney say he was going to ask the tough questions this season maybe he could start next week with the bloke he works withderbystiger wrote: ↑07 Apr 2021, 17:19 I can't say as I'm too fussed about him going, I never really understood his role anyway. Re: Wells
So basically sounds like Gratton and Fulton selecting the new coach.... would have liked to have thought someone who has a reasonable understanding of the game would have been involved.

Re: Wells
If Wells has left, we need some stability in the management level.
Cas have an ethos and way of doing things.
Let's not chuck
'The baby out with bathwater '.
I don't really know whose running the club or steering the ship.
Let's hope they have a plan.
P.s.
Not a cunning one.!!

Sorry state of affairs Steve when we don’t know who’s running the club, I don’t have a clue.stevieblunder wrote: ↑07 Apr 2021, 20:47 If Wells has left, we need some stability in the management level.

Re: Wells
I posted that last week about Gill. Nailed on he was coming back once DP announcement was made. Even more so now.
Laughing stock springs to mind for me.
The timing is attrotious, the decision making is poor and as always the club are giving it the big Marcel Marceau impression.
Steve Gill was sacked for what was seen as a monumental error and he will now be welcomed back. Only at Cas

Don’t forget SG is a big yes man that won’t rock the boat and will be back on a reduced salary. Perfect for IF.

Re: Wells
You know what’s coming this next year or 2.
I am just waiting for the usual “I love my club” and the “I support whoever” and the favourite “I am a true fan” brigade to start their vitriol.
Because all those that apparently don’t fit their view aren’t fans however many years they have been going and still go.
FC get the cones ready my friend
