You mean it’s not McDermott??? But we were told on here in no uncertain terms that discussing anyone other the McDermott was a waste of everyone’s time...lurcher wrote: ↑18 Apr 2021, 22:05done deal.lurcher wrote: ↑14 Apr 2021, 23:08 its looking like its now radfords if he wants it. if thats true i hope its no more than a 1 year contract. i have to travel from brid and i'd give him the benefit of the doubt for 12 months but if he serves up his normal 5 drives and a kick that will be finished until he's gone. absolute joke.

Re: Next Coach....
He’s ruled himself out of the job, it says he’s off to the states to coach in rugby Union. We had absolutely no contact with him which is the right option by the club.
Re: Next Coach....
I don't believe anything anyone says anymore nowadays but we're building a strong team last thing I want is him to get control of it

Re: Next Coach....
I put he’s ruled himself out of the job earlier. This has changed now because Ive been told by multiple people is that he’s got the job which sickens me. They have no reason to lie either but let’s hope I’ve been told wrong.MrRugby123 wrote: ↑19 Apr 2021, 08:16 He’s ruled himself out of the job, it says he’s off to the states to coach in rugby Union. Re: Next Coach....
If our clubs decision makers, who are also the ones that are holding the purse strings have actually made Radford the chosen one, then we are in for one hell of a bumpy ride.lurcher wrote: ↑18 Apr 2021, 22:05done deal.lurcher wrote: ↑14 Apr 2021, 23:08 its looking like its now radfords if he wants it. if thats true i hope its no more than a 1 year contract. i have to travel from brid and i'd give him the benefit of the doubt for 12 months but if he serves up his normal 5 drives and a kick that will be finished until he's gone. absolute joke.

Always said Radford would get the job :liar:
Took Hull fc to 2 Challenge cup finals and they won both. More than can be said for Powell. Just saying like :-"

Re: Next Coach....
Would prefer Radford to say someone like Henderson least he won’t be a yes man and as won something as a coach.
Re: Next Coach....
Radford got the push at Hull to me he as failed good coaches dont get the sack , who
ever gets the CAS job as big boots to fill only time will tell whether we get the right man be it Radford or any other coach i will give them my support

Re: Next Coach....
interesting, would you consider Brian McDermott a bad coach with 4 GF wins, 2 Challenge Cups and a World Club Challenge under his belt plus several other final appearances? Coaches at clubs have a shelf life and inevitably move on for the betterment of the club and themselves it doesn’t make them failures. Lee Radford has won 2 Challege Cups which is approximately 2 more than the best coach in the history of rugby league has.
Re: Next Coach....
A lot of Hull fans wish Radford was still there.

Re: Next Coach....
From the names thrown into the hat Radford is the only one with Superleague experience and silverware. Would have preferred Mc Dermott but he turned it down as he heard Fumper wasn't happy about him being offered the job.
