Better strap yourself in and get ready for the ride then.
Re: Next Coach....
Nothing personal but I hope your talking rubbish
Re: Next Coach....
Would like to see James Ford given the opportunity, young, intelligent, forward thinking coach with local connections. Done a great job at York on a limited budget, albeit at a lower level. Doubt the club would take the risk but would rather him than resurrecting McDermott,I'd rather have herpes!

Re: Next Coach....
Sadly he isn’t.
It’s a sorry state of affairs that we end up with a coach that isn’t very pleasant when it comes to our club, fans and people yet he will air the money and the job.
He is hardly likely to get a job elsewhere is he?

Re: Next Coach....
I bet there's been 40 -50 applications at least for the job and where going to give it the one who 90% of the supporters hate not even at Cas surely ?
The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have

We will see what direction the board want to take the club in with who they appoint.

I'd rather see an up and coming coach with fresh ideas like James Ford given a crack than Brian Mac. At least go down fighting with good rugby than the gruel BMac serves up.

Only one I'd be happy with is Shane Flanigan and that wont happen

Re: Next Coach....
I think we need someone with experience of being a head coach, but who sees Cas as a ‘step up’ (rather than McDermott or Wane, who I think would both see Cas as a step down from previous jobs).old cas lass wrote: ↑06 Apr 2021, 21:07 What about Andy last.

In order of preference I’d go:
Danny Ward (alongside Jamie Langley).
Ryan Carr (I’ve heard so much good stuff about him).
James Ford (again, very highly rated).
Paul Rowley.
Paul Anderson.
Re: Next Coach....
Shaun Wane open to a club return as a head coach after World Cup. If he can't get a gig in NRL surely won't be many super league jobs to pick from?
