They already have 2 and spend half a million more than any other club in league, they should win everything with all the advantages they have.westerbeast73 wrote: ↑06 Apr 2021, 16:50Marquee playerheritage1926 wrote: ↑06 Apr 2021, 16:16Warrington don't have any cap left for Trueman this year.westerbeast73 wrote: ↑06 Apr 2021, 16:13 Dont worry him a Trueman will be gone in the next couple of months.

Re: Conflict of interest.
Yes they have 2 at the moment but maybe 1 is on his way when Trueman arrives.
Re: Conflict of interest.
Maybe Trueman is not going anywhere??
Re: Conflict of interest.
Sorry mate but DP has given up on us and all his empty ambitions of winning stuff darnt lane. His departure should not have been allowed, yes allowed, we shortened his contract so he could [REMOVED] on us. i am sickened by his selfish actions.heritage1926 wrote: ↑06 Apr 2021, 11:16 No conflict of interest for me. Powell definitely isn't the sort of bloke to give up on us. It was inevitable he was going to end up at Warrington. More money to spend on better players, better facilities etc, who wouldn't want to take that next step. I don't think there's much between us and Warrington on the field, but off it, we're a million miles away. Just pray we get the next appointment right, otherwise 8 years of stability could end up unravelling very very quick.
I am chuffed now that this is my first year without a season ticket for over 20 years and i will not be paying his wages at all this season, its the armchair for me until we have a coach that wants to be there.

This is why Orr left in my opinion. As i live at the coast now and struggled to get to games even with my season ticket, i decided not to renew this year, I suppose in the eyes of the newbies that makes me just a troll with over 50 years darnt lane,Juscas wrote: ↑06 Apr 2021, 20:18Bit of bothscottiger wrote: ↑06 Apr 2021, 20:15Troll ? Re: Conflict of interest.
Darryl Clark attracting NRL interest, plus the fact they are looking at off loading two other contracted players and there's your cap space. Certainly enough to bring in a young half back and replacement hooker if they are so inclined. Now where would they find them?

I don't think it would sit well with cas supporters if he took the likes of Trueman and Mcshane with him to Warrington nowt much we can do about thoHepworth7 wrote: ↑08 Apr 2021, 19:19 Darryl Clark attracting NRL interest, plus the fact they are looking at off loading two other contracted players and there's your cap space. Re: Conflict of interest.
We’d be getting a fee so that’s what will stop that. If he’s got a long term plan at Warrington he’ll want to sign Trueman but not Mcshane.tigerfeat wrote: ↑08 Apr 2021, 20:01I don't think it would sit well with cas supporters if he took the likes of Trueman and Mcshane with him to Warrington nowt much we can do about thoHepworth7 wrote: ↑08 Apr 2021, 19:19 Darryl Clark attracting NRL interest, plus the fact they are looking at off loading two other contracted players and there's your cap space. over the many years players and coaches come and go i was upset when Hardisty and Heppy left how many hundreds of players have warn a Cas shirt since then, we also must have had between 20 and 30 coaches , as one of the CAS faithfull i would never leave our club there will be a number of you that will be the same,

Re: Conflict of interest.
Good call Gateman.
I suspect many on the Forum are younger fans and possibly have been fans for 10 or 20 yrs.
No coach, player or group of players is bigger than the club.
Put your hand in a bucket of water.
Take it out.
The hole that is left........
Well, draw your own conclusions.

I've lost track of the number of times I've been fed up when we've lost some of my favourites to other clubs over the years...
- When Mal left as coach
- Knocker
- Kempy & Legend
- Rangi
The list is huge actually. It's all part & parcel of having a sports club in your blood.
