Jon Wells
Re: Jon Wells
Wouldn't a great replacement for Jon Wells be one of Cas's biggest fans in Robert Elstone?

Re: Jon Wells
The position was originally to help the club on the rugby side of the administration after Steve Gill left the club. Believe it or not when Gill left Daryl took on all the admin side of rugby as well as been coach just cos of the lack of experience at the club at the time. Wells came in to take the pressure from Daryl but I think now Mr Grattan has more experience than previous and a new head coach due for arrival it might not be needed. Me Personally I think the Role would be ideal for a John Kear or Brian Noble at this time

Rats and sinking ships ???????
Re: Jon Wells
Maybe the new head coach doesn’t want to work under a Director of Rugby?

Re: Jon Wells
It’s up to the saviour to decide. Strange thing was it was supposed to have been Jesus that came back from the dead and now SG.
Having said that I am not overly fussed about Wells going at all, never really knew what he did anyway.

Re: Jon Wells

Sorry for going off topic

You can only be furloughed if your not able to work. Seeing as though the season has started, they are back at work I'd say..

Lots of egg on faces for earlier posters!
The club seems to be crumbling in front of our eyes, I hope the players keep the faith and give us a year to remember.
I can see more bad news on the horizon though.. It looks like the management have some very difficult decisions to make and I think the current shortage of money and possibly an old debt is key - especially as the new ground, which would have freed up the sale of WR looks dead in the water.

You don't want to do it like that!
Re: Jon Wells
If all this was sorted out months ago theve been a bit sneaky leaving it until now to announce it when nearly 3,000 season tickets have been sold and most have let the club keep last year's season ticket money
Maybe they had no choice with the financial state were in but still a statement from the club again would be appreciated

There are many things I consider when deciding whether to have a season ticket or not.tigerfeat wrote: ↑08 Apr 2021, 06:23 If all this was sorted out months ago theve been a bit sneaky leaving it until now to announce it when nearly 3,000 season tickets have been sold and most have let the club keep last year's season ticket money

Jon Wells isn’t one of them, though.
