There were one or two pathetic efforts put in after last year's lockdown but in general it may be a player as lost form or lost confidence or just not as good as thought I'd say that rather than a player dosnt try his best every time he plays for Cas

If he can get his form back, he's got to stay. He's enthusiastic and that's infectious. Having someone on the park getting them going is a must. But if he's no longer a first 17 player.......

It’s all good and well saying players give 100% effort but when the resulting output is looked at they are very far away from 100%.

You can always tell when a player isn’t good enough because some fans bang on about “But he gives 100% and is a club man and he helps the kids” or some sort of comment like that. We also occasionally here how nice a guy he is off the pitch but very rarely come up with even a single game that they may have influenced or done something outstanding.

Who we put in this category is always open to debate but James Clare is 100% in this group.

It is also quite amusing when people give us the “I support any players in a Cas shirt” or the worst one “I have been watching Cas since Queen Victoria was in the throne so I am the best fan ever and I know more than you”.

Just saying like.

Some good points, every player should give 100%, if the don't they should be out until they can get it together or out entirely. Late last year we had players in the 17 who weren't fit and injured but put their hands up. I can't knock that.

I do support all players that play but Ryan Bailey really tested that with me.

As already stated, let's encourage all the players to put in the efforts and reward those that respond positively.

I dread to think how I'd feel about putting my body on the line if I knew half of the folk watching actually hated me. Then again, I'd always want to prove them wrong but I never take a backward step.

Don’t we all support the team and whoever is playing?

Just because we might not agree with them playing or think they are any good we, or I do, want them to do well and be a part of the performance and want them to win?

I support any player who pulls the shirt on.
There was only one I didn’t.

Hope Jesse steps up this season.
Tbh he as a lot of fingers in off field projects.
I think his head was turned by that.
He needs to concentrate on the rugby.
His off field projects will be there after rugby.

The whole point of my post was theres plenty of players out of contract soon. Theres also plenty who dont put the effort in. I say get rid and get some fresh blood in and that deffo includes JSL. Hope he proves me wrong but I doubt it as hes more interested in fashion these days.
I know if I wasnt doing my job properly I be pulled up about it for sure.

I really struggled to support Ryan Bailey.

BULLY ? He could start trouble then he'd be nowhere to be seen when the fists started flying. COWARD is a better word for him.

Hence ‘flat track’ bully; someone who picks on those he knows won’t fight back or hits people when they aren’t looking, but is nowhere to be seen when it comes to fronting up equally to others who might be able to put him in his place.
Quick to throw a punch at a half-back or a player who isn’t looking, but also quick to run behind the likes of Jamie Peacock when the other team’s forwards took exception.
Horrible player. Hated seeing him in a Cas shirt.
