Gonna be a tough one and will show us what kind of a side we are gonna be this season. Last game of the weekend through looks like the pitch will be wrecked.

Always interesting to see the level playing field set before us by the RFL.

Wakefield V Leeds.

Played like the rest of the round at Shedingley.

Why not have this this fixture reversed instead.
Then Wakefields home fixture against Leeds would probably be at Wakefield, later in the season.

I'm not a Wakefield fan. Just believe in fair play.

At this point, I'm just happy that the season is ready to go.

However, cannot see how each home team cannot stage their own home games at their own stadium. Would surely be more practical and safer, than having multiple teams in one location on one day.

Well done for finding out, good detective work, but someone has broke the rules on confidentiality.
Might as well add, Magic Weekend 4th &5th May at Newcastle. Full fixtures out sometime next week, written confirmation of Championship games just received today by clubs.

Just play the games at your home grounds.

Not rocket science.

Let chance of COVID as well.

The clue is in the title...given 4th May is a Tuesday and 5th May a Wednesday should’ve been enough of a give away that the information you’re peddling is untrue.

The difficulty with Leeds playing a large proportion of the early season games at home, with no crowd, is the loss of income over the year, if we are eventually allowed back in.

Say we can go back at the half way point, Leeds may have played the majority of their home games and will therefore have to play the majority of their away games, well, away. No income whereas the rest get around half of their homes games in front of crowds.

I wasn't aware games were going to be on neutral grounds again hope it's just a one off for the start of the season

I suspect not as they'll both be playing left centre, you'd think. Never know though.
I'm not too worried about a player in his mid-30s who hasn't played a decent game of RL for almost two years.
I'm a bit wary of Greg Inglis though.

To be fair, without fans I’m not sure it gives Leeds much of an advantage, if any. They don’t even train on the pitch, so aren’t even used to the dimensions much more so than any other team.
