Ha ha I was going to say was that you ...it was iced over had some bottle whoever it was that's for sure
Although the gentleman concerned appears to be downplaying his efforts, he has also added that it's not something average joe should attempt. He only did it because he's a triathlete and was on a training run. This meant he both knew his ability to cope with open water and could maintain his body heat after exiting the water by continuing his run.
Great effort nonetheless.

If they hadn't and someone picked up a serious injury, this board would be full of 'I can't believe the coaching staff made them train in dangerous conditions' comments.

Whenever we encoutered weather like this for 'games' (PE) at school we would just play 'murder ball'. I'm not suggesting pro RL players should go out and knock seven bags out of each other but surely light activities outside and gym work are possible?

We've got a weights room or did have last March ...

Leeds training ground is just off kirkstall road which will have been cleared of snow. I doubt the roads leading to the jungle will be in the same condition.

WR is terrible right now. Some of the lads have already been down. It's not so much the training ground, it's the fact people travelling from out of Cas, in to Cas are struggling to get in, so postponed training.

Do you engage your brain before posting?
Schools closed early, guess you’ll be slagging off the education facilities next...

Agree. He must have found it very tough since coming over. It will have affected his confidence.
He's had some grief from supporters (me included). I wish him well for the year, hope he rips it up and that he silences his critics.

I think we’ll get squad numbers soon with the players putting sponsorship photos on social media. we must be the only team not to announce them yet.
