Re: 3rd shirt.
It says nothing of the sort on the government notice regarding the price point *must* be 20% different.

The furore over schoolchildren is at what point do you add 20% VAT on to school uniform based on the definition of a young child (adults don't wear uniforms...well unless in a kinky way) so isn't comparable.
The point is at what age/size do children stop being young children and the equivalent sizes, which Cas have at 14 (from what I saw) with anything above that in the adult, though that could be down to limitations in stock. The issue would be if they were charging VAT when they shouldn't on young children's clothing or were zero rating clothing they shouldn't.
I understand what you are saying, it is just I've seen zero evidence to suggest the club is or has done anything wrong.
There is nothing in the above to say that matching clothing of child and adult must be 20% different or more, so I would be intrigued to see where you have read that or know that from if you can share please?
Based on the above (and having done a quick search around), there's nothing to say about replica shirts or about the 20% gap must be applied. I think we chatted about this a few months back too so I know you have mentioned it before. I'm not saying you are wrong.
They are selling a junior item at £41 and not charging VAT on it. They are selling an adult £46 and are charging 20% VAT on it, so they are following the VAT rules on what you must apply it to and how much.
As a business, surely they can set the prices they want so charging £41 and £46, or as another extreme £10 and £100 if they wanted to, as long as it includes 0 and 20% VAT respectively.
I'd also say that the training wear is £27 for adult and £25 for a junior so it isn't on one item but across the board.

Back on topic separately, I think I must be the only one that likes the shirt.
It's different, quirky and eclectic but that is part of the appeal. And I think the orange works well with black compared to how it would have looked the opposite way around.
I actually prefer it to the home-come-away shirt

Re: 3rd shirt.
Why cant we have a predominantly amber with a fkn black V on the front!!! I hate all these black kits, they make us look small, i can only think that we do it because we cannot get the lighter coloured strips clean when they are washed!!

I fail to understand how anyone can like that monstrosity, it's truly awful.Lofthouse Tiger wrote: ↑21 Dec 2020, 08:19 Back on topic separately, I think I must be the only one that likes the shirt.

I like bright colours. It could be worse. It could have an orange tiger on the front
