Re: Away shirts.
Get in there! This'll be the first replica shirt I've bought for a few years - Amber and decent looking material. Happy!
Re: Away shirts.
Nice shirt. Sure they’ve got the home & away kits the wrong way round though!
Re: Away shirts.
Just checked my funds and think I'll have one please. Eat bread and jam for a couple of weeks but hay it's all in a good cause.

It's a beauty
Re: Away shirts.
Sureley the visiting team will just wear there home kit if that is the case.heritage1926 wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 14:25 I guarantee we end up wearing the away kit at home quite a few times. More clubs now are choosing a darker away kit, which will clash with our home one.

Re: Away shirts.
You really are boring.
To satisfy your weird obsession with me, I’ll confirm that I’ll be buying neither. I haven't had a playing shirt since I was about 13 but I buy a polo shirt or two every year, including the Club1926 one that aeons mine and 1,925 other supporters names.
I haven’t had a season ticket since 2016 since my father in law took ill and we started to spend most weekends in Rugeley with the in laws.
I did, last week, register my interest in getting a season ticket for 2021. If that makes me any less of a supporter for not having a season ticket year after year, so be it.
Have a great weekend...

Do you actually go to any matches ie pay money on the gate? I'm not obsessed either, the only person obsessed with you is you #-oFumper27 wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 22:59 You really are boring.

Re: Away shirts.
I’m the obsessed one yet I’ve asked no personal questions about you. Why? Because I simply do not care one jot about you.
Anyway, it’s early and I’ve nothing better to do.
The answer to your question is yes. In the seasons I haven’t had a ST (2017-2020), whenever I’ve been home and we’ve had a game I’ve attended. Like I said previous, family comes first, which meant giving up my own time to spend with my wife and her family in difficult times.
Hope that quenches your needs for today. In future, can you PM any questions as I’m sure the folk of the forum are getting bored of you and your off-topic ramblings now.

Re: Away shirts.
For some one that comes across so arrogant on this forum the fact you put very little financial support towards the club is laughable. The way you talk to people on this forum is discusting at times. Don't worry I wont be commenting on anything you say on here ever again or PM you. Hopefully we will come face to face one day so we can get this sorted out but not over a keyboard. However that's probably unlikely due to the fact you very rarely go watch any live games. Everyone now knows YOUR AN ARMCHAIR SUPPORTER ](*,) #-o

Re: Away shirts.
Can we go back to talking about the away shirt than who spends what, who attends what etc?
Some people are loyal fans, some people are glory fans. It is upto each individual to choose what level of support they provide and they don't need to justify to anyone else. Just that those who are loyal and back the club season upon season should be commended for being able to do so and for doing it.

Re: Away shirts.
Why do people always have bust up on here. Can't we just have a bit of banter and a laugh. Christ things are bad enough without fans falling out over stupid things. Season over now so time to get ready for 2021 C.O.Y.F. anyway that's me probably done now unless something grabs my attention so all stay safe look after your close ones and enjoy Christmas the best you can. Piquad,1 out.
Re: Away shirts.
Showing stupidity and naivety in the same post if you think attending games is the only way to support the club financially. Not taking into account that I had:
Season ticket every season between 1988-1998, missed 1999 because I played for the clubs academy team, 2000-2002 because I was away, serving my country in the Armed Forces.
Season ticket every season between 2003-2016
2017-2020 attended games as and when I could
Bought a club polo shirt or two pretty much all my adult life
Bought a replica playing shirt every year I as a child
Drinks in the bar before during and after games
Golden gamble tickets
Tiger TV subscription
Match day program / ROAR
Attended away matches with tickets purchased through the club
There’s probably many others one forgotten to mention. The one thing this doesn’t is make me any more or less of a supporter of our club than the next person. If you go to every game, if you purchase every piece of memorabilia, if you have got every item of replica kit from every season of our clubs existence, I applaud you, but I will not see it as proof that your love and support is any greater than anyone else’s. The club needs us all, no matter how much time, focus and money we part with along the way.
There’s a casual poster on here called Frankas (hope you don’t mind me naming you pal), who for whatever reason or reasons cannot attend games anymore. Using your analogy, does like make them “an armchair supporter”. Does that mean his passion and love of our club is less than that of yours?
It’s posters like you and your vicious view on things that make the world an ugly place. As for saying “hopefully we meet face to face” shows a severe lack of maturity. For all you know, I could be a one armed dwarf who despises violence. On the other hand, I could be the polar opposite. I guess you’ll never know.

Re: Away shirts.
Do you think there’s a method behind the madness of appearing to have or home and away shirts the other way around next season? One that is mere supporters haven’t been made aware of?
