Hardly call Turner rubbish, he’s a quality centre with the right players around him he will stand out like he did at saints and matagi was Hudds best forward last year. Huddersfield don’t have cap space and are getting rid of there two higher earners. Can’t please everyone though.

Sounds like Cas have played a blinder with Matagi and Turner.
Both of them will still be paid a proportion of their wages by Huddersfield (a combined 100k by all accounts) so we've paying them well under the salary cap value.

Matagi - he's been Huddersfield's best prop. I'm not sure why they are releasing him to be honest.
For the first time in a few years, I'm happy with our pre-season recruitment.
Evalds is a top full back and I think he improves us massively.
O'Brien is a very good player and will compete for a place in the halves - I don't think Trueman is guaranteed a start based in performances this year.
Matagi is a proven SL prop who makes more metres than most other props. We've needed someone with size and experience since Moors began suffering long-term injuries.
Turner gives us three options at centre alongside Mata'utia (who I think is our best centre) and Shenton (who clearly should not be playing every game).

Maybe waiting until the end of the season when Liam Sutcliffe is OOC and we can get him for free, with the promise of being. The player to replace Shenton or Turner?

Yeah never been a big fan of Turner hope he smashes it at Cas ...can't fault the work that's been done to improve the team for next season gives us every chance in my book

Pleased with our recruitment, much better than was anticipated, but with the strength of the top clubs it looks like a holding year.
The following season we should see a big rebuild with plenty of cap space with the likes of JSL,Blair, Millington ans Shenton hopefully on their way and plenty of others just on a years deal.

Best recruitment since 2017, seems like we are identifying areas we need to improve on. we also do have plenty of cap space which helps bring players in.

Doesn’t matter having the cap space if we don’t have the cold, hard cash to pay the players we look to bring in.

Happy with this can also cover half back if I remember rightly means we have GOB peanut and now turner to cover halfback which means we can leave mcshane at hooker where he is best. GOB decent cover at full back. Evalds, Shenton and Blair cover for Centre.
