Based on last season’s squad announcement before the season started and the signings confirmed for next season:

Rankin - Niall Evalds
Mcmeekan -
Moors - Sui Matagi
Cook - Lewis Bienek
Turner - Gareth O’Brien
Summers - Sam Hall
Storey - Brad Martin

Replace Mcmeekan with a quality centre, move Blair into the 2nd row and, in my opinion, we're good to go:

Evalds
Feki
New centre
Mata’utia
Eden
O’Brien
Richardson
Watts
McShane
Matagi
Blair
Holmes
Smith

Millington
JSL
Massey
Milner

Griffin
Foster
Shenton
Bienek
Hepi
O’Neill
Olpherts
Clare
Peachey
Graham
Martin
Hall

Looks good on paper. Need to start with a bang don't get bullied or pushed around the field. All for one and one for all mental attitude. If it comes give it back sick of the bullies and dirty players getting away with it all the time. Mental attitude and aggression wins matches and trophy's.

I'd go for Harvey livett really rate him only young and can play 2nd row centre half back and can kick goals surprised no1 as signed him up yet

Thought Harvey had signed for Salford if not a good shout.

Not a bad shout. I believe that he has some big game experience from his time at Warrington.

PS - I forgot to put Trueman in my initial squad

If and it's a big if Feki is on the wing I reckon Olpherts could play centre. Strong and fast :-k

Theres a player in the nrl that's out of contract and released from souths. Back rower, Elijah Taylor. Good player really suprised he hasnt been signed up yet. With matagi signing have we still got a quota spot? Rankins?

There’s a few NRL players who I expected to get new contracts, but the situation obviously has made clubs think twice.
Taylor would be a great signing (though he’s from Wests, not Souths!), but there are also two centres in Tim Lafai and Brad Takairangi who would walk into most SL teams.
We do still have a non-fed spot as Rankin and Moors left and Matagi has joined.

Yeah would take either of them think it depends if there looking for a centre or back rower lafai would be great in left centre not to sure about takairangi in centre i no he plays centre played more of a utility off bench last season and when he came on played alot in back row and seems to put on abit of size in doing so just wouldn't want to happen as with Blair put to much size on and not be mobile enough for centre

Wouldn't be signing Livett or having Olpherts at centre. We need an out and out player to play in their positions. Not a utility or a square peg

But for the rest of it yeah we look strong. Get Shenny replaced ideally with a Centre as opposed to a back rower as Blair is a forward now for me and then I think we'll do really well next year. Top 5 surely

i hope we do not lose Trueman but reading today Warrington are offering Gareth Widdop around the Australian clubs so they will be looking out for 6/7

I would prefer another centre but it boils down to money. Both Feki and Olpherts have played centre in the past for other clubs so both could do a job there. Anyone but Shenton now for me, he's past it.

To be honest I wouldn't be sad to see him go as I think O'Brien would be better anyway and would give us money to invest in a centre and another back up half. However I bet the club would go buy more back rowers or something and leave us with no depth in the halves so, on that note, I hope he stays.

Olpherts doesn't get near my 1st team if we are fully fit . Too error prone for me .

Eden, Feki and olpherts fighting for 2 win spots this year with James Clare only playing when someone’s injured.

Shenton is a major scapegoat the last couple of years . Obviously he isn't in his prime but hes still the best centre we have .

Dont forget evalds, very possible he plays some wing next year . O'Brien has to start for me do I'd have evalds and eden wing . Finally a back line with some serious pace .
