Hull KR sign two NRL proven props
Korbin Sims and Ryan Hall???
Sims & Albert Vete, for your information
Jesus. You think that you really had to correct my obviously deliberate mistake?
By the way, what constitutes “two NRL proven prop”. An average of 9 games per year over 6 years (Vete) certainly isn’t proven in my opinion. By that logic, players such asCalum Turner and Will Maher are “proven SL players”.

Two reasonable signings that will hopefully push us on for next season.
Hopefully the cones are out on Wheldon Road!

People really need to have a sense of reality. We have secured 2 huge signatures in Evalds and O'Brien.
We have replaced Junior and Cook, with 2 big forwards.
I do believe we will sign a couple more, probably not big profile signings, but ones that add to the squad.
Just for context, Matagi as played 36 times for Huddersfield in 2 seasons, Albert Vete as played 54 games in 5 years at 10 games a season.

With one of those seasons being a shortened one in 2020.
However, don’t forget that Vete came from the NRL, so he must be proven and better than anyone we’ve signed

Exactly, Feki came with big expectations and look how that’s gone so far

I still (blindly) think Feki will be like “Jake Webster” and end up proving his worth to the club. He played almost 150 NRL games in 7 season, so wasn’t known for missing games before coming to Cas.
Unlike Vete who averages 11 games a season over last five years.

Let's not forget that McMeekan came from Broncos with no notable expectations....didn't turn out too bad
If Bienek turns out to be another 'McMeekan' (last 2yrs excepted) then I'll be happy.
Matagi, although 33 has that bit of aggression and no-nonsense attitude about him, Watts excepted, that we have lacked of late.

He’s 33 next March. So not quite there yet.
As for watts, I’d like to see more aggression from him.
Sometime he walks into the defensive line, in stead of going full pelt.

More bodies on board and capable ones at that. We still need to recognise our financial limits and cut our cloth accordingly but these two can have a positive impact.

Just seen Matagi. He's about 6ft2/3 and built like a brickhouse.

You said 9 originally haha if he keeps this up he'll have played every game. About Feki tho I do agree. I was buzzing when we made the signing and think he'll be quality when he gets going. Even Blair might come good, don't forget how everyone was rating him in the back row before the lockdown. Can't see him finding form in the centres but he's got the size for a backrower and could definitely be a McMeeken replacement. Quite excited for next year with Matagi signing, will add some aggression to our forwards and show the likes of O'Neill how to use it.

I don’t think anyone can argue that, pre lockdown, Blair was settling into the back row spot nicely and looking good. After the restart he looked as though he was enjoying Papa John’s sponsorship a bit too much! I still think he could be a good replacement for McMeeken though if he comes out the blocks next season as he did this - he has every attribute needed, just needs the attitude to want to be here and do the job.

Interesting because they granted him a testimonial year for 2021
