Bienek scatters players not sure why he's not kicked on at Hull if we havnt got much money to play with a player like him is a option hope the coach works the Oracle

If we don't have the disruption of a lot of long term injurys again we will be there abouts IMO
The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have

I'm guessing we'll do the usual and dip in to the market mid season, Daryl likes doing that.

Tom Amone is very much a Junior Moors style player and is without a club for 2021. Josh King also released by Newcastle.

if we do sign from overseas let's hope we do not get our fingers burnt as we have with the last two

Indeed. Though there is still time for both of those players to make an impact, of course.
Most of our successful overseas signings have not been big-name NRL regulars. Both Amone and King are mid-20s with not that much NRL experience, but have been very successful in the grade below NRL (and to be honest, that’s often a higher level than SL). They wouldn’t be on long, high contracts so will need to perform wherever they go next if they want to continue as professional players, especially if they want another crack at the NRL.

No, I just threw a couple of names out there to illustrate the point that our best overseas signing haven’t necessarily been NRL regulars before moving to Super League.

Is it still on the cards that Junior is going to Wakefield next year?

I see Amore has a decent offload on him from what I’ve seen in few times he’s played not sure on much else but tbf I don’t think we’ll be bringing any NRL players in unfortunately

Was a pleasure to watch Junior play, we dont seem to get good big forwards from overseas very often and Junior certainly fitted that mould, on his day, he was as good as any forward in the league.

So long Junior and thanks for all the fish!

Spot on. The established NRL players we have recently signed have not been value for money.

Junior was brilliant in his first few seasons.

You mean “establish NRL player”? I would argue that only Feki was established when he signed for us from the NRL.

Couldn't agree more gateman
JM was a great player for us but sadly his body is [REMOVED]'d and is simply not the player that he was

On his day Barnstorming but we've not seen that in 2 years.

Good luck for the future and thanks for the memories.

Time stands still for no one. Unfortunately we all slow down and get old. But thanks J.M for your time at the jungle and some good memories. I wish you well in whatever you do next.
