Happy days....

Post by SuffolkTiger » 18 Sep 2020, 16:24

I've just treated myself to a rewatch of the 93/94 Regal final as we haven't got a game this week.

Still brings a few goose bumps. A magnificent performance by our pack led by a masterclass in RL from Crooksy.

Ford & Kemp ultra professional. Blackmore a threat all game. Singe & Simon Morrison had "2 all time greats" in their pockets all afternoon.

I will never tire of watching it.

Must have been a quality copy if Simon Morrison was playing?

Apologies! Basic schoolboy error. It was Simon Middleton.

Went on to play a coaching role within the England RU set up - but let's not hold that against him..... 😏

He was lucky enough to get a trial under Darryl van de velde and because of a shortage of wingers at the time he took a shot

He came from knottingley rugby Union
