Probably just needs a free weekend to take stock, pull his thoughts together and be ready to go again
Re: Does Daryl look ready to walk?
He might be tempted if he reads some of the rubbish posted on here.

Re: Does Daryl look ready to walk?
He definitely looked pee’d off v hull fc.
I dont blame him. It’s like all hands dealt to the club haven’t be favourable and The gods have been against us.
I think he feels like he needs a favourable break.
Let’s hope these 10 days away from playing and him taking stock and we get a win next game, we might get a smile from him.
We know how we feel as fans, the coaches and players must feel so frustrated.

Re: Does Daryl look ready to walk?
Somebody does....
The fact Watts had to post something on his twitter about it means it's getting around the squad.
Absolute shocking from any Cas fans involved.
We were once again top of the league before lock down and just been on a downer after it like a few teams.

Genuine question if I can, why is it shocking ?Swagger wrote: ↑15 Sep 2020, 18:46Somebody does....

A lot of people on this forum are trolls.

Think that was more Twitter than this forum to be honest. A few people have made comments on there questioning whether it is time for change.Swagger wrote: ↑15 Sep 2020, 18:46Somebody does....

In the spirit of the final Blackadder episode - Goooodbyeee!
Re: Does Daryl look ready to walk?
No doubt with players all ready known to be moving on I would think that DP would have held talks with players and agents to replace for next season and under the current COVID- problem surely its the wrong time to be thinking of walking away don’t think that’s his way just wish some fans would see sense along with COVID-19 rule changes and club that don’t like speculating he needs backing not slating

Re: Does Daryl look ready to walk?
I’m sure that, like any of us who go to work to earn a crust, he has days where he just wishes he could walk away. It will be the financial reality of life and his desire to deliver some success and see the job through that stop him from doing that.
He’s clearly frustrated about the current lack of form, the complications due to COVID & the limitations he will be experiencing at our club (lack of finance available, training & rehab facilities and media profile).
Any additional frustrations caused by a lack of shared goals and direction with the Board of Directors must make the role extremely challenging at times.
I hope he successfully navigates through these choppy waters & delivers the silverware he richly deserves.

Re: Does Daryl look ready to walk?
I think the social media atmosphere is generally considered toxic, at times some of the views on here could be considered an extension of that.
Daryl wouldn't be human if, like we all do at times in our work think - is it worth it and would I be better doing something else, that just makes him human. I'd be surprised if over the last few weeks he hasn't felt like that, doesn't make it more likely..... just indicates to me he cares.
What is it they say, opinions are like a-holes, everyones got one.

Re: Does Daryl look ready to walk?
Social media is a Cancer and its getting worse. It's given arm chair experts a platform to spout of their, often, thicker than pig dung opinions of which they know little to nothing about. You know the kind "have you ever played the game..." types who once turned out for ferry Fryston under 12's back in 1975... Oh yes Jeff let's listen to your inane ramblings and ignore the people whom have day to day dealings with the players and staff alike.

P. S. I don't know who Jeff is it's just a name I pulled out the air

If Powelly had been at other clubs he would have won major trophys
Some of the desicions that have gone against us would make anybody mad but it's seen as sour grapes best just to say you know what bring it on were going to win anyway refs calls ,injurys, three games a week ,don't matter
