So you have an issue with the words BUGGERED OFF and not with the fact Cas paid his wages while he was injured and when he got fit enough to play again he put in s transfer request. Trying to be clever REALLY DOESNT SUITE YOU DOES IT. Sorry but people on here try to put there point across by certain comments within a thread and not what the thread is actually saying ](*,)

Re: FEKI - 999!
You seem to be getting a bit wound up to a level where you feel you have to make your point by using capital letters - which is a form of foot stamping. The use of "suite' instead of "suit" adds to the confusion - unless you meant to state "suet" which would have at least raised a smile.westerbeast73 wrote: ↑20 Feb 2021, 00:43 So you have an issue with the words BUGGERED OFF and not with the fact Cas paid his wages while he was injured and when he got fit enough to play again he put in s transfer request. Employment law dictates that the club had to pay his salary while he was injured. It's a situation no-one would have wanted - including the player.
The transfer request would probably have come any way and the club may have seen it as a blessing considering his injury record.
Not sure what the point is you're trying to make.
Re: FEKI - 999!
Suffolk, I have told you before that quoting facts such as “ Employment law dictates that the club had to pay his salary while he was injured” does not work on here. You have to say things about a players morals, financial situation or how good of a salary they’re (supposedly) on to gain any credence on here.SuffolkTiger wrote: ↑20 Feb 2021, 06:29You seem to be getting a bit wound up to a level where you feel you have to make your point by using capital letters - which is a form of foot stamping. You must also stay on the forum all night to debate your point, forgetting what other commitments you may have to your employers, your family or both.
Finally, you should also know that there are users on here who lack the vocabulary, IQ and factual evidence to engage in reasoned debate, who turn to personal insults when their views are countered, who fail to add to the debate when asked questions to expand on their points of view or “facts” used.
Now, stay away until you fully learn and understand those lessons
Re: FEKI - 999!
I was going to join in but I think I'll leave this one for the ones with vocabulary and IQ there that rules me out. I just like discussing rugby not sitting an English test.
Re: FEKI - 999!
Probably rules myself out there Piquad1 by using those words but I get fed up of pretty much every topic veering off track because the few take opposing views as a personal attack on them.

Well I’ve apparently failed not just on English but on cleverness too. Apologies for not understanding what buggered off means . Sorry for winding you up to shouting mode mate . It’s not worth it to me to have upset you . Enjoy the weekend.

I guess he could have played almost every game in 2019 despite having an injury that would then keep him out in 2020. One of those ‘delayed reaction’ injuries that you don’t notice until months after it has occurred.westerbeast73 wrote: ↑19 Feb 2021, 21:50You have facts ? What facts that he played in the NRL in 2019 You've no evidence he didnt have an injury just like I've no evidence he did. But guess what hes played 20 mins of rugby so I'll go with my theory.nottinghamtiger wrote: ↑19 Feb 2021, 21:44
You have ‘gut instinct’; I have facts.
Your argument was that he had ‘a problem’ before he joined Cas. There’s just no evidence to support that claim, but evidence to disprove it.
Unless he got injured on the flight over.
Actually not (obviously), I just got bored of engaging with someone who thinks they are always right when they are very clearly wrong.
To be honest, I’m surprised I engaged for as long as I did.
I’m going to make use of the ‘add foe’ function again (my list is growing, but it’s mostly the same person under different usernames).
So it will go permanently quiet, because I will no longer be able to see your posts. There’s no need to reply, because I just won’t see it.

Re: FEKI - 999!
Here we go again
Re: FEKI - 999!
If you read rest of my post I said come to some sort of agreement with the player.....
If we can offer him something to cut his contract short and use his money elsewhere.
Re: FEKI - 999!
But the player has to accept whatever is on offer, which will be significantly less than what he’d get if he sat out the two years on his contract.
Maybe those who appear to know Sosaia’s financial situation can advise if he can afford to do this or not?

Re: FEKI - 999!
This is when the rich backer of any club who as plenty of money should put their hands in their pockets and pay him off. I'm sure Wigan, Warrington and Saints would pay off a player that wont be playing as he is always injured. If Fulton is rich as people say paying Feki off would be small change but I get the impression he won't put his hand in his pocket.Fumper27 wrote: ↑20 Feb 2021, 15:05But the player has to accept whatever is on offer, which will be significantly less than what he’d get if he sat out the two years on his contract.

Nobody backs a RL club financially to make money. They do it because they love the club and want it to do well. Now's a time to pay some money out for the club to get another winger and have a better season.

Re: FEKI - 999!
What if insurance covers this seasons wage for him if it's confirmed as a season ending injury? Apply for cap dispensation, as we did with Gale, and use Feki's wage to get someone in for the season. The only cost to the club then would be rehab time etc.. Now I have no clue if this is even an option as I'm not sat round the boardroom table and have no access to insurance policies, contracts, terms and conditions etc.. I'm just trying to see how things would work to try and minimise cost without having to 'pay him off', which would be dead money. Yes, in an ideal world we would come to an agreement and part ways but that costs so alternatives need to be looked at first with a 'financial agreement' as a last resort. Let's not forget that he would be well within his rights to demand the full contract value if we want rid. Employment law is always on the side of the employee, not the employer, unless gross misconduct is proven.westerbeast73 wrote: ↑20 Feb 2021, 15:14This is when the rich backer of any club who as plenty of money should put their hands in their pockets and pay him off. If insurance covers his wages then that's the way to go. However if not we need another winger anyway to cover this season and like I said the owner has plenty of money. If he puts his hand in his pocket it doesnt effect the club finances. Fingers crossed they can get the insurance money though.derbystiger wrote: ↑20 Feb 2021, 16:25What if insurance covers this seasons wage for him if it's confirmed as a season ending injury? There's a fundamental difference between not getting the grammar right and constructing a post so poorly that in renders it almost impossible to understand. That just wastes everyone's time.westerbeast73 wrote: ↑20 Feb 2021, 10:25Well said, some people would rather correct you on your grammar than add anything of interest.
The above shouldn't be confused with posting something that someone subsequently disagrees with. Nothing wrong with that.
