Looks a really good player, hope he gets his chance.
Played about 10 mins.
The only playEr showing enthusiasm pace and aggression.
What does Powell do, drag him off. I despair

He will be gone in 2022 if that's all he gets

He must have got a knock otherwise why take him off first or second touch he almost barged his way over baffling if he didn't get a knock

Young Jaques had a brilliant game last night both in attack and defence, but the lad needs more game time than he's getting. I know he's signed a new deal but he'll be snapped up and gone before we know it. If he can't get in at 9 he'd make a great loose forward.

He's a tenacious little player. Took it to Warrington when he came on. Strong as well as fast. The natural successor to McShane. However, I'd be playing him at loose and put Massey in at prop.

I must sound like a broken record but I don't care - O'Neill must play every game. He's a running threat, fairly quick, won't shy away from defensive work and also has a little nastiness about him if needed. I'd also have him at 13 with Massey at prop. I know this is a Jacques thread but, on the subject of Massey - big shout out, nobody can fault his efforts.

Got some heart and determination and looks like he wants to play rugby, unlike some players who are in the squad purely on reputation. Powell needs to gives him a chance, now is a better time than ever with top 4 looking out of reach

If all our forwards ran the ball in the way O’Neil does we would be a lot better team , he gets a very quick play of the ball too

Unpopular opinion but i dont see the fuss about O'Neil, yes he plays with enthusiasm and heart but i dont see anything to say he can replace Mcshane at hooker i see him as another player like Milner whos not really big enough to be a top forward and doesn't have good enough rugby brain to be a top hooker.
