Well deserved Jacques - now let’s see if he gets a game more often - he’d be in the 17 every week for me

Re: Jaques O’Neil.
We've gotta give this young bloke some game time. He's not frightened of tackling anyone and he is a definite replacement for when Macca decides to step back. Until then he should be in every game 17 . To top it off he's a cracking young bloke from a cracking family from up in Cumbria, and they come to watch him all the time.

Re: Jaques O’Neil.
Pretty much unanimous the lad seems to have talent and enthusiasm.
Let's hope he has the opportunity to shine in a Cas Jersey

Re: Jaques O’Neil.
glad we have got him onboard one year seems a short contraxt for a lad 21 years of age
Re: Jaques O’Neil.
I think a lot of contracts are only been done to 2021, so clubs can see what TV deal is in place for 2022 and beyond.

Re: Jaques O’Neil.
I like him.
Could be a 9 or 13.
Always gives 100%, unlike a few regulars I could mention.
An avid Cas fan.
In other seasons he'd be on a 2 or 3 yr deal.

Re: Jaques O’Neil.
Reminds me of Chris Watson back in the Nineties. Although he was older, Watson was thought of highly by Van de Velde , played in semifinal win over St. Helens but missed out in final, (was in Methley Park) having tonsils removed. When John Joyner replaced Daryl, there was a clash of personalities and he was shown the door. But he would tackle anything in his sights, just like young O Neill, hope this lad makes it.

Played about 10 mins.
The only playEr showing enthusiasm pace and aggression.
What does Powell do, drag him off. I despair

Leagues best coach knows what he’s doing.
