If the season can't be finished and ends now, Sky pull out their money.

Hull have also told their players the game is off Sunday.

I’m not buying that this anything to do with social class or money.
People earning far less than RL players can manage to stay 2m away from their mates and not gather in large groups from different households.

There's no way you get 6 infections if you're following protocols seriously

Hull should be made to play with clear players or forfeit the game.

It's a joke and I'm surprised it hasn't made front page news tbh

They can’t play with any players. All the FC squad have been in close physical contact with the players who have then tested positive. They all have to isolate for 14 days, whether they have symptoms or not and even if they have a negative test result.
Same with the Salford players. Any of them who came into contact with a Hull player who has now tested positive has to isolate for 14 days.

The issue of not taking the situation seriously is not a rugby league phenomenon.
I don't do social media but there are pictures of packed pubs, beaches, stories of Premiership footballers holding parties of scientific advisors and Boris's pal Cummings not adhering to the rules.
It could have been only one player who then passed it on in training.
The issue is how xo the powers that be respond.
If Sky pull the plug it will most likely spell the end of the sport as a professional game.
Something l alluded to at the beginning of lockdown

What’s stopping that happening.
Other wise we are gonna have a massive back log.
An interesting suggestion but still fraught with problems. Yes, the two teams in Hull are mortal enemies but players and fans from both halves of the city will go in the same pubs. And players from opposing clubs can be friends too. How many times could Colin Maskell and Lee Crooks be seen together when playing for Leeds and Cas respectively? Throw Albert Kelly into the mix, light touch paper and stand back!
Still a proposal that warrants considering though.

If all HKR players have tested negative this week, there’s no more reason Cas v Hull KR should not go ahead than any other game.

But if the HKR and cas players get tested and results come back negative then they are free to play. Fair enough if a players result comes back positive then there’s no game.

They should also consider Catalan playing one of the resting teams such as Wire to fulfil the Sky TV slots and reduce the ensuing congestion.
Some radical and pragmatic planning required.

When you look at the NRL all the players are classed as being in "social bubbles" hence when someone is spotted in a restaurant/shops etc they are isolated for 14 days even with a negative test result, and heavily fined. Now think how low the numbers are in Australia as opposed to here, the RFL should have done something similar. Tony
Even the Australian deputy prime minister said on Monday after Wayne Bennett Pengia Jr and a few Newcastle Knights players had being found to have broken protocols ...It really is up to the NRL to follow all the protocols we put in place so the season could continue if they can't we will have no option but to stop it

Re testing, if any Hull KR players have been in the same venue as any of the infected Hull FC people, should they not have all 'signed in' and will be 'traced' and have to self- isolate?
Sorry , not trying to be negative, just playing devil's advocate

Is there any proof that KR and FC players have mingled.
Surely that’s against protocol.
If they have then them KR playerS will also have to isolate.

Apparently all tests on Monday came back negative.
Not sure why only 11 and not the full 17 have to isolate.

I guess they’ve reviewed the game and identified the 11 players who made physical contact with the Hull players who have tested positive.
I’m guessing the 6 players who don’t need to isolate didn’t make physical contact with any of those who have tested positive.
