Re: ITS BACK
I'm not sure anyone getting excited but it has to be a level playing field.
With Wigan football going into administration today, their ground may be available cheap.

As per my earlier post, the administrators now “Control” the ground as an asset of the business. This stops the business selling this, or any other, assets and keeping the money. One of three things will now happen:tigerfeat wrote: ↑01 Jul 2020, 18:28Who owns the ground at this moment in time then
1) the company will be rescued (taken over)as a going concern
2) the creditors will agree a deal which sees them receive so much from every pound they’re owed (CVA). This will be more than if the company went into liquidation, as the creditors then get little to nothing back
3) sell assets to benefit one or more secured or preferential creditors.

Let’s calm down?Squaddie86 wrote: ↑30 Jun 2020, 17:50 For those talking about "unfair advantage" for 3 teams:
In the english football league, bundesliga, AFL and - most relevant to us: NRL, home advantage disappears without crowds:

There is nothing special enough about Headingley that would buck this trend for Leeds. So lets calm down eh?

Re: ITS BACK
I know that it's not widely agreed with, but I would go with grounds owned by rl clubs. Leeds, Saints, Wire, Cas, Wakey. Not Hull, KR, Hudds, Wigan, Salford and obvs Toronto or Cats.

Sky will dictate where games are played . Rightly so imo .Spanishtiger wrote: ↑03 Jul 2020, 00:09 I know that it's not widely agreed with, but I would go with grounds owned by rl clubs. Leeds, Saints, Wire, Cas, Wakey. Not Hull, KR, Hudds, Wigan, Salford and obvs Toronto or Cats.

Re: ITS BACK
On the back to training I've not heard anything from the club about the cost of the tests that will need doing and the deep cleans and so on but I read yesterday one of the owners-chairman saying one month of that would cost the equivalent of a years wage of a player

Re: ITS BACK
Thanks. I was just trying to understand why KR had been included in the grounds not owned by RL Clubs .

I am fairly sure that Hull KRs ground is owned by Hull City Council.
