Magic Weekend Tickets

Post by TigerCol » 05 Jun 2020, 17:03

Hi

Sorry if I have missed this elsewhere but has there been an update on the tickets from Magic weekend and if refunds are available.

I bought two tickets through the club website in December but all I have ever received is the confirmation. No tickets were ever provided.

I have emailed the club two or three times but no response so presume there is no one there at the moment which I understand.

As I am in the shielding group I doubt I would attend even if rescheduled for later in the year so just trying to find out options.

Thanks

Colin

Colin

The club are likely to be struggling financially.

I’d not be wanting a refund, I’d let it slide personally.

The issue is not dissimilar to the season ticket issue.
The club undoubtedly needs whatever revenue it can.
However the people who bought the tickets in goid faith may also have radically changed circumstances so the option of a refund should be available.
Personally not affected as l am neither a season ticket holder or hadn't bought a Magic ticket.

Yes let it slide. If anyone owes you money forget it. I don't think so a lot of people are struggling financially so fair is fair. I bet if I owed someone some money do you think they would forget it. It's all well and good helping the club out financially when your ok but these are trying times for all.

But is the money with the club or the RFL? I would have thought the club only got a percentage of the ticket sales

If you feel you can allow the club to keep the money then that’s fine, if you can’t or don’t want to then take any refund package offered.

Let’s not start a “I love my club more than you do coz I am a true fan” type of threads.

Each person can do as they see fit for whatever reasons folks. End of.
